Good stuff
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with compliance lists is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is clean but menus are not always intuitive. Sometimes seems messy to navigate around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud security is not truly doable without a product such as Lacework.

Jira integration requires some love
What do you like best about the product?
GCP integration works rather well, but there's a bit of work to be done regarding autopilot Kubernetes and infrastructure as code provisions (we're using pulumi).
What do you dislike about the product?
As my description points out, we had trouble synchronizing solved issues in our Jira boards, because Lacework does not ensure a two-way integration. This implies that we have to manually close tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework is helping us discover cloud vulnerabilities as we build our tech stack, which is great. However, some the issues raised, do not necessarily represent a security problem.
Lacework has intuitive UX design and its polygraph can display enterprise cloud instances...
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lacework can scale more than ThreatStack's IDS because it can retain more than 3 days of logs. And Lacework can allow for webhook integration with Ops Genie
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Lacework hourly ML process can be faster. I wish cloud account alerts like the publicly open security group rule can be real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to solve real anomaly detection with zero-day vulnerabilities. Lacework can monitor network flow that looks suspicious
Lacework helps meet compliance and keep environment secure
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Lacework is an easy tool to get integrated into your Cloud environment. Read access to IAM and deploy the agent to your instances and you will be most of the way there to having full visibility to your environment. While you could use AWS native tools, Lacework's dashboards are much better and also help provide machine learning to learn more about your environment. Customer success team is also top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have many issues with Lacework. I will say our environment is on the smaller side so we have less data and a smaller attack vector. Overall, it has helped meet our compliance requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework helps secure our environment by providing visibility and alerting. The service leverages machine learning to continuously improve upon itself on the types of alerts that get triggered. It also helps meet our compliance requirements.

I like that it shows my compliance posture to SOC II and Hitrust.

I don't have anything that I dislike. The platform is intuitive and is phenomenal.

We are using it for risk review, and overall compliance posture review.
Best security solution to cover easily your cloud environment
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to deploy, manage and use on a daily basis. Interface is simple and the solution is really powerful and cover all types of cloud assets
What do you dislike about the product?
Some improvements needed in permissions Management for admin and users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal was to protect our growing cloud environment on AWS and give and easy but powerful interface to monitor those threats in the security team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test the solution during a POC. In a short amount of time it will bring you value with vulnerability detection, abnormal behavior detection and visibility on your cloud environment

Lacework for the Security Risk Reduction Win!
What do you like best about the product?
First, we start with ease of deployment. IT was frankly amazing how fast it is up and running, and best of all, giving actionable information for your team to begin remediation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to run it against my local on-prem network and endpoint assets. This would give a more holistic view into our risk landscape and allow for better overall security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to monitor our Cloud Infrastructure and report on abnormal activity, along with vulnerability scanning and alerting. All of this without the need of extra team members to write rules every day.

Centralized birds-eye view of the security platform.

Nothing specific that bothered me afaik.
