For anybody, very easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked to see templates that could easily be used and fit many different scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like that sections of the elements where your own code can be placed are very tight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It taught me that using outsystems is a joy, and that anyone has a very little or no programming background in making sensitive and cool look-alike webapps / mobile apps. As a low code item, businesses that try to gain an advantage in this competitive field will be very helpful. Although the material does not suit what the current version can do during tutorial and instructions (the material may be old / outdated and does not meet the capability of the current outsystem model), it is still very easy to complete.

Take the time and go through all the training materials offered by external systems.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a modern platform, which allows me to have a facility to implement the program. It also offers me to design an easy website, because it is cloudless. It's great, because I can integrate with other features and get services through Forge. Excellent flexibility to reduce costs. And it guarantees me support for the operation and productivity of my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the mode of implementation was a bit slow, it would be valuable to improve. As for the initial online training, I would like it to improve and get good results. It would be great and I would love to have prefabricated designs included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems is excellent tool, we are using it in different areas of our company which we have an effective service. We also have an application development which allows us more workflow, speed and efficient use. It also allows us to increase efficiency and save money in various departments. It is ideal helps us reduce the time to market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
OutSystem easily integrates with existing systems and can enter your own custom code. As for this function, it allows to implement in any device in a positive way. It also integrates the device's native capabilities such as GPS, barcode among others. It is exceptional because it fits each scenario, and the company decides how the product wants.

Simple UI. Easy and fast to create simple applications.

No preview mode before deploying and difficult to move applications from personal environment to enterprise environment.

We are still starting up. We still need to do brain storm sessions for creating apps in Outsystems.

The UI for setting up quickly the datamodel and frontend layers for building an app

Sometimes it is hard to connect with other systems from other suppliers

What do you like best about the product?
How the OutSystems platform has all the capabilities to enable our development team to work efficiently and enthusiastically on developing the required solutions and deploying solutions fast. This has also the effect of more confidence in our IT development by the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developers indicate that they would like to see branching possible for co-developing on applications/modules. On the OutSystems support we would like to see a better response time and higher status feedback interval to avoid us asking for a status on tickets.

Automating processes. Connecting/integrating systems. A faster time from idea to creation. New applications for users that were not considered before. Replacing legacy in a faster way.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to build and deploy applications fast, without much effort. Build and deploy applications fast, integrate and orchestrate with legacy and other systems as well as a variety of data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to manipulate data in the database inside OutSystems tools. Other than that, the app is great.

Very productive development platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Intergrated Development Environment most due to the graphic design of the program flow and easy testing

The deployments are bit slow deployments and the can be a lot of dependencies

We want to decrease the development time and we believe we will reach thag goal. Because al lot of feature are already available which you have to buidl by your own in a traditional programming language

What do you like best about the product?
It creates a platform for people in the actual business (so not IT) to develop apps specially tailored to their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high paywall in the licensing format. The upfront costs are pretty high.

Would like to quickly develop small applications tailored to the business' day to day needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Best in class and contemporary Rapid Application development platform. Easy to build native apps for android or iOS and web applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Niche talent in the market. Not a lot of resources available. the platform needs more visibility in the coming days. This is going to be a challenge in comparison to all the open source available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application modernization

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can have an application published and ready for testing without the involvement of other teams. The ability to generate apps for both iOS and Android.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment there is no real code branching implemented which requires some extra planning for teamwork. The fact that we cannot bundle any static data together with the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digitizing some of the paper based processes. And as a benefit the fact that we can build the app for both Android and iOS at the same time as well as having support for tablets.
