A great development platform for all
What do you like best about the product?
I have a wonderful experience with the Outsystems platform. I'm a professional certified Microsoft .Net developer and working on .Net technologies since 2013. As MS .Net technology is in the market for very long time, Its making rapid changes in last few years to sustain the market so I had to learn about latest changes too often. So thought to give a try this new platform and I was amazed how easy was too learn it and the capability of platform is remarkable. Great UI and development acceleration kept me never look back to .Net but I'm still on touch. Where earlier development with code writing was tedious job, its a fun to do with Outsystems. I'm enjoying it very much. Here are few things which I liked the most :
1. Rapid development as no code or minimum coding is involved. The acceleration of development is remarkable.
2. Easy to learn with free training material for everyone.
3. The responsiveness of member of community, members are too supportive and ready to help each other. A quick solution for our need.
4. Easy integration with other platform.
5. All members are open to share his idea to improve the platform and is taken in consideration with great extent.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its very difficult to write about it. I really don't think I have found anything to dislike . Here are some points need to improve in platform :
1. More explanation needed for some widget/tools with real time example in documentation.
2. Centralize synchronization between Producer and consumer module, so no need to use manage dependency frequent.
3. Better training material/documentation to build forge component.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I see low-code development platform as a future of traditional coding platform and Outsystems is one of the best to consider.
On a level of their own for low code software development

Solid platform, lot's of time in the market, clear roadmap, generates .net code that can be run outside the platform if need be

Needed to adapt specific thinking and logic for their language and low code app

Faster TTM for developing apps for desktop and mobile, amazing resource for POCs and demo's and following them to production aftwerwards
Right from product evaluation stage Outsystems looked to be a promising low code platform

Licensing model could be more simple and flexible

We wanted to improve our development TATs, quality and end user experience. We can see the benefits it most of the identified areas.
There is a lot of resources in outsystems.

So far I would think its the integration studio.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that we can do all kinds of programming on a single platform, OutSystems it's a fast pace software that allows us to see and work both ends with high quality. There are almost no blocks and when they exist you have a great team at OutSystems that make things happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I have seen until now, there is even the opportunity to train in a personal environment where you can train and create your applications with a limit of 2Gb which is enough to work and show some proof of concepts. And if there is any downside, OutSystems will make it happen for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Build an application without greater effort. I found a lot of benefits, from the possibility of having several servers in the cloud, being able to set up my project either for web, tablet, or mobile, and the fact that it is low code gives us some freedom to have some creativity.

The interactive way to program and that it's really easy to start by watching the courses outsystems has.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have a dark mode, version for mac and more space in the cloud.

Let oustystem be concerned with things that for us were complex but very important. In addition to the development times, the outsystems is concerned with topics such as security, logs etc., Essential and important things, but that many programmers put in the background and in the future can give problems

Source control is a little complicated to manage the larger teams.

Very fast construction of backoffices apps essential for the company's operation.
Best low-code platform to work
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, directly, intuitive platform to all - both frontend and backend. Also, fast development, deployment and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some components on the forge are not compatible with the version of the Outsystems platform I have until a stable and update version. However, they are useful to know what we can do, for what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In general all. For example, faster development, great UI/UX and management.
Outsystem is the low code platform .Low code to achieve difficult task. Best part is community help.
