Great to be working in Outsystems
What do you like best about the product?
It's a low-code platform and it helps in delivering the enterprise apps quickly into production.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about the Outsystems. Only concern would be pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves by reducing the time and resources needed to build an application for enterprises. In the traditional approach it may take up to days but Outsystems has reduced that burden.
Sky Rocket Learning and Delivery on Versatile and Custom Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
I'm currently a junior developer, and I've started my IT career approximately 1.5 years ago. Although being a recent programmer I continue to get, so to say, "surprised" everyday with the user-friendly learning path on this low-code solution that I've stepped into and accomplished with the versatility of the platform until now.
One of my favourite features of Outsystems is of course based on is its versatility and code reusability on mobile native solutions, but also on web-driven projects, which allows a fast delivery of the final solutions to the clients, overcoming our clients deadlines expectations in a short time period without compromising the solutions quality. Others of my favorite features, are related to the simplified processes of debugging, allowing you to rapidly get to the root of any issue, and the clear relations that the platform allows you to effortlessly recognize between the front-end and back-end of each solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes OS new releases of built-in components might cause some inappropriate behaviors, although the fixes to those are quickly implemented. Also, controlling large factory solutions involving multiple dev-teams (regarding as examples: module publishing or deploys) can be quite challenging.
Apart from this, I will hopefully continue my journey, growing as an OutSystems developer and contributing the best as I can to, not only, improve the solutions that I deliver, but also with the huge community that supports this great platform to its success.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides shortening the timespan between the development and final deliveries, I could say that factory management and technical debt improvement on Outsystems becomes easier with the available the tools (such as Service Center, Architecture Dashboard, Discovery, etc.).

Love the fact that i've learned programing just in 6 months. I didn't know nothing about it before.

Well, i think i didn't like this last update. I'm still adapting.

Simplicity in creating new webapps, that's the greatest benefit.

The speed with which everything can be done and how intuitive it is. I have been working with OutSystems for three years and now my work life is much easier, both in development and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price of the licenses is its biggest disadvantage, since many clients are not willing to pay those prices, but if the company is financially solvent, it must pay them because it is worth it.

Since I work on Outsystems projects, the development capacity is enormous and the times in which we can deliver quality code was something unthinkable.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a simple UI that is easy to understand and all of its features are so easy to use that lessens the burden on employees. Outsystems provide high security which is important in the digital world because as technology is increasing, different threats are raised with time which is not handled by every tool. Cost is very less compared to other competitive tools without compromising on functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration is time-consuming but it is not highly complex like alternatives, so once we have gotten the feel of the platform, it is undoubtedly enjoyable and also a wide range of choices are available on this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant advantage I've noticed is the enhanced productivity that we can achieve with a single developer/resource. It decreases the time, effort and costs associated with developing and supporting solutions. It also excels at agile and DevOps approaches, which enable iterative development and continuous deployment.

My opinion regarding Outsystems
What do you like best about the product?
Outsystems is a low code platform, so may not learn languages like c, c++, java, etc., I can develop application with only logical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
When two or more developers work on the same module, changes made by one developer affect another during the time of publish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to implement API's and consume that in our application. Drag and drop feature for any functionality and it consumes less time.
Overall 5+years of exp. Passionate about learning new things. Now I'm an OutSystems Enthusiast.

the Outsystems provides complete full-stack development Solutions. It's very rich for the Enterprise App. It has more secure and fast development process tools.

Not too much good for Native Mobile Applications developments. Many plugins are not compatible with Reactive as well as Native Mobile.
