What do you like best about the product?
The fast natures around low code, is outsystems biggest advantage. We have been able to migrating an existing platform in 3 months. The low code platform benefits from the ability to apply custom code and logic, of which no code platforms struggle. Outsystems paried with a good development team really the opportunites are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outsystems customer support is lacking. Account management could be worked on. We are a unique client compared to traditional clients on outsystems so we would think that there would be interest there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were previously on another platform called stacker which is no code. The problem was we reached a point where we as a business was dependent on stackers roadmap. With Outsystems this isnt the case.

Enjoying the speed of development

  • November 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Have been developing with Outsystems and like the speed of development. Outsystems takes quite some (boring) work out of your hands like boilerplate, basic security checks and logging. It provides plenty of ways to extend the platform, and works great for all sorts of applications, ranging from desktop to mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced use cases still require high / traditional code. I'm fine writing that but could imagine others might not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal businesses applications mostly.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about OutSystems is the speed at which you can develop software. Bringing a product to market fast, receive feedback and add updates is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default templates can be a bit boring. Studies show you make or break a app with good UI/UX so that's super important. But recently we found new ways to style alle the applications we have with custom designs and CSS,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very large userbase (>500.000 users) so to be able to release features fast and controlable is invaluable to us.
