Best Low Code platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity that Outsystems provides in order to create beautiful mobile apps and also Web Apps. I takes very few hours of study in order to be able to perform the hardest tasks in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time that takes to put a solution from the Development Environment into the Production Environment. Service Center is also a bit old and doesn't look and feel like the remaining services of Outsystems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said, it's easy to use Outsystems as a platform to produce mobile and web apps since it doesn't require many hours of study to get along with the platform. It solves problems related with the need to have many developers for each and one of the mobile platforms. Outsystems allows the user to produce apps for Android and iOS in one single platform of development.

environments deployments take many time, difficult out of the box implementations

I like that the platform is easy to use, and allows to have results early one the process of developing something new.
What do you dislike about the product?
SOAP integrations. It has problems integrating with SOAP web services that are a lit complex or have complex objects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The delivery speed. Business can see the results more fasten and act accordingly, saving a lot of time.

None so far. Outsystems has done many things to have a great product, so far i have no negative feedback to give.

I have been migrating many "old" applications to Outsystems. Its been easy to use and to adapt to the business

What do you like best about the product?
The Outsystems platform is the best way to reduce the time to market in all types of it projects, reduce direct and indirect costs and the overall number of elements of the development team is smaller then comparing with other it development platforms..
What do you dislike about the product?
The offline capability of the platform is not yet the best way to mobile programming, but is growing in that direction. The silkui is other part that in my opinion needs more development, and growing to became more usability in larger projects sutch as insurance it.

All inquiry and expertise bussness is being managed in outsystems platform based applications, and all the users are very happy with it. The time to market achived with the platform is another benefict to all the parts envolved in the development process. The number of developers is other benefict of outsystems platform.

The base of developers are lower than other technology.
The lack of documentation sometimes, but the online help is growing very quickly.

The customer misaligment. With this tool we can develop fast and inline with the customer in mind.

Real low code software development tool. Very fast development Web and Mobile. I use it for more than 11 years for multiple projects around the world and i recommend to all parties to give it a try.

Support for cloud-hosted PaaS could be better.

Empowering employees with mobile applications. The time to market for mobile apps has been second to none. It is fast, iterative and more engaging and this results in more successful mobile application.

Go ahead and shop around - we did, but no other platform today provides as full coverage of the SDLC as OutSystems..

Due the complexity of the product you can easily mess up by changing small things, like creating a database index.

I'm not focused in one specific area. The biggest benefit is translating business language into technology.
