Very Simple, Effective and Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
It has a very simple interface to test for the backend API and also we can create a collection of different API's from the same project, it shows different error codes when there is some problem with the backend code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it take some time to open and other than that there is no major problem with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can check if our API is working without deploying the code and we don't have to open a browser to check our backed code response we can simply paste the URL of our microservice and check whether it is working or not.
Great API testing platform
What do you like best about the product?
I use postman for designing, building, testing and iterating APIs.The best thing about postman is that it makes the process of API testing very seamless, which is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bad thing about postman is that we cannot send both JSON and file format in a single API call, which can be a great feature if improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem solved by postman is that the developer creates many API calls in website building, and with postman that API testing becomes very easy.

As a web developer, postman is a beneficial application as it helps with a lot of API testing, which is the best part of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that the user cannot send JSON and files in a single API call, as it gives a null response.

As web developers, we write many API calls in a web development process, and it becomes straightforward to test those API calls using the Postman application.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very useful integration tool. It has a very easy user interface. It is very useful to be able to collect your ready-to-use requests and test them again and again with the collection structure. It is very easy to share sample requests with export import capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
linux distribution has minor bugs in user interface can be improved further. It is more helpful for the first experience as it does not force user account creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the opportunity for web service developers to test their own services without a user interface. it also helps them to analyze the request structure by sharing these requests to the people who will use the services.
Useful tool for testing API/WS
What do you like best about the product?
I consider recommending this software for others, the best thing I like is youcan create, import or export API. My overall experience using this software is very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything that I dislike, some of the screen are badly sized and there's no resize option, sometimes it adds headers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I chose this software as it very user friendly and API simplicity. Every thing was done with fewer click and in a more intuitive way.

Postman is good software for API testing and creating apo collections for all development projects.

Sometimes its get hanged when hit any api calls and it wont respond

Postman nowadays giving updates to correct their User interface and performance issue and sometimes loader also

Options in tools are very understandable and easy to find.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automating the APIs are difficult as iam comparing with jmeter.

Individual APIs we can execute very easily and easy to change the payloads and auto adjust the payloads.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very helpful for developers especially for API developers who develop api calls, so they can test quickly using saved enV variables.

Whenever i open the postman, it takes some time to refresh all the tabs which i opened recently.
When i opened 20 tabs , please try to move the tab smoothly when i switch from 1st tab to 20th tab.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solving some minor problems like app performance and i noticed some user interface were changed.
Basically I always open the postman when am starting my work, so whenever i switch to postman , it brings to exact where i left and sometimes the error which take more time to get output.

Api testing became easy with postman
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test the api response . It supports all the methods like get, post, delete..
We can give custom request headers.UI is very friendly. We can easily edit the api and change the query parameters. There are no CORS restrictions as well

Too many unnecessary suggestions. Nothing else to dislike it is such a wonderful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easily helping me to test the api or create the new api. It is so easy to see how the api's behave with different headers and query parameters. We can create a directory consisting of all the api for a project

What do you like best about the product?
I have used postman mostly just for API testing, I am new to API integration but postman is really easy to use so for me this is the best part of postman is that it can be used by users with almost no previous experience with API integration
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I have not used postman to the core but I think it's one of the best tools to test API, just small flaw is we cannot use a global variable in it. apart from that, I don't think there are any major drawbacks to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, Postman is solving many problems like API integration and API testing. I am a software developer so it's one of the most useful tools. it is very efficient and reliable. I literally don't know how else to test API's.
