Prominent tool for any developer
What do you like best about the product?
The required data for an application process to create linkage between the front end and the backend, the postman is the most important pillar for user implications that work on the various environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are minimal testing environments features available in postman. This can cause an effect if the configurations changes with time as the complete migration cannot be done at the instance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman has benefited the business before releasing any data into production. You can set it up according to your choice by importing your codebase. This eases the process increasing the productivity of the asset as well as the team.

Collect and organize endpoint examples. Great way to share environments. Easy to document and show examples of results right in the tool you're using.

Some of the things were hidden. Knowing there are docs behind the scenes makes it easy, but if you're new to it, you may not know to look.

Single place to create, test, and share endpoint examples.

Really understand the requirements of your project, and look through the tool's documentation. It does a lot more than meets the eye.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very popular API testing software among users with very amazing built-in functions and a good User Interface with minimal hassle. It is indeed the best one among all other API testing software which in itself is the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is haevy application and consumes good amount of memory and takes sometime to get load when you open it after closing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every developer who works on creating APIs swears by it as it has amazing functionality and user support, and other management tools to test and create a collection of all your APIs and keep them secure. Despite handling complex APIs, it does not lag and provides smooth functionality.

- Neat & clean UI makes it a lot easier even for new users to work with postman at first
- Its workspace feature makes a lot easier to organize your API collections
- Environment variables are a cool feature they have & also, you get sample request code in almost any popular programming language. It makes developer life more effortless.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes, I face postman app open issue on my MacBook air to do work again, I have to restart my laptop.
- If I don't want the tab to be there and if I try to remove it, It just pops up you each time, are you sure you want to remove this request that can be handled gracefully
- I think with the free plan, users should get more member collaboration and requests numbers

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I usually make lots of APIs for testing these APIs I generally use postman as my first tool.

What do you like best about the product?
it is used for API testing and the select method is direct and JSON method. we used to create JSON data and check for API data and Use Postman as a REST client to create and execute queries. (Postman also works with SOAP and GraphQL.

memory cache consumption and open time is very high

API testing and API timing duration check and check data in API and data format check

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very useful for calling endpoints. Using this services enables me to do my job better, and analyze specific issues with what is in specific endpoints. In addition, this is an awesome gateway into devolpment, and coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is hard to navigate. For example, if I want to export an environment file, one must navigate through a few different layers of buttons to push. The user experience wasn't bad but could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing postman allows me to look at the layers of environments we have set up. In addition, it allows me to focus on one piece of the puzzle (calling an endpoint) and see what our endpoint is spitting back out.

As per my use, I did not find any dislike about Postman, because it provides all necessary features for testing my API and passing data to my API through postman.

What do you like best about the product?
In postman we can easily test api like if want to test get api i simply give url by selecting get method and click on send button is shows the results whether the hit is successful or not it successful it shows 200 message woth some data if unsuccessful is show errors like 404 502 500.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman doesn't provide any security also it is less secure anyone can easily hack and fetch data by simply running two to three commands which is not a good sign
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post solves many problems for testers as they need to do api testing manually before postman but after postman testers have a upper hand in testing apis also postman is very easy to use

Testers should use Postman it is easy and provide accurate results shime testing apis

Have found instances where setting up the env type to pick env during api calls during test/dev/ preprod did not work .
