Tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
It is very handful tool for Any kind of API testing. Woks with any language and even it can generate some of code snippets for API calls. It supports all kind of API calls like, PUT, POST, DELETE etc,
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Postman from last 2 years. I did not find any bugs or flows in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developed many API testing collections for company and myself. I have find postman very helpful when you need quick testing of any server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest all the IT guys who are working or students who want to make their career in IT just use postman for API testing and management. It is easy to learn and simple user interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very easy to use application. The syntax is simple to grasp and the community support is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard report can be made to be simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do thorough API testing for security purposes with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about postman is that it is fast, easier and we can send requests to verify that our API is ready to launch. It also helps to create a beautiful documentation. We can monitor APIs, document and debug them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike one thing about Postman i.e it deletes the API history after some days. Memory wise it is good but sometimes we tend to forget the API routes or what parameters were passed while calling that API then this feature proves to be a bottleneck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly API development and its management is done using Postman. There are many benefits for eg you can directly take the CURL request code from the postman by clicking on the Code button and run it in terminal. Moreover there's an invite option where you can collaborate with your colleagues on the same API.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is a great API development tool. If you are comfortable with curl requests you can automatically the CURL request by clicking on the code button and run it in the terminal.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not a major concern since I really like Postman, but for free users (not sure with premium), it takes for some time to share an unsaved API call. Would've been nice if you can export it immediately and share to another user.

What do you like best about the product?
A postman is a tool which is using to push the job on site. It's very good to use for testing API. It is a tool where we can send the request to the web server and get a response.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about the postman. it is really very good to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using postman we can push the job. When requesting the web server through postman it responded quickly.

It is extremely easy to use and allows you to share test cases from one system to other systems or environments. The creation of test suites is equally simple and you can manage collections of test cases for integrations. It allows to store data from previous test cases in global variables and can be used as environment variables for calls between two APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plugin for Google Chrome has given me failures, so I recommend the installation of the desktop version, it is much more stable and well optimized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is the preferred tool in my job as a programmer. It has allowed me to make integrations with other systems very quickly and make tests very easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love Postman and it seems to me a very important tool for those developers who do integrations with other systems or are backend and frontend programmers. I have also found it very useful to test the APIs that connect to mobile applications. Highly recommended.

What do you like best about the product?
It is free. Easy to use. That is the best api tool. Can test any api. Can test any request method. Such as post, get, put, delete, update any thing. Can check authentication api. This allows to share test cases from a system to another system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had not get any dislike thing. Postman does not provide web service testing. Anyone can find api url.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can do all api testing using this tool. We can use free version for test api.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman makes building, saving, and sharing http requests easy! It’s my favorite tool for testing out rest apis. It lets you save requests for all endpoints and share them with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some other tools offer more advanced features automatically generating authorization keys and calling a series of requests in succession.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use postman for testing and developing rest apis. We have a common setup that we can share with all of our developers, although this is a paid feature

Postman is great and fast to set up. There is a new, free tool named insomnia that just came out that I think will be better in a few releases.
Great tool to Test REST APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the best tool to test REST APIs in real time. It is quick and user interface is so nice. Anyone can just download and start using it. Sharing of Collections and Generating of code in any specified language is best feature that I like.We can make any HTTP request with any body and headers with help of this.
What do you dislike about the product?
using it since 6 months and i found that it works fine in Mac. and there is no other major problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have developed express server and tested in postman. Tested mongodb database and custom API. It was very great help and fast to use it during development.

For the people who are developing web application in full stack or mean stack.They can find this very useful.
