Makes developers life easier
What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple and intuitive. One of the best tool for testing API's and maintaining API's and sharing with front end developers to refer and use the given format.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a limitation when working in group. You share a limited number of API with team. you have to take a paid version of it to share more API's with team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on e-commerce application. For that, we are testing API's using Postman

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Postman is that it has a fresh, intuitive, and pleasant appearance, which additionally has powerful tools to perform service tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I have not found any negative aspects of the tool; for most of the tasks I perform, it is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to perform tests quickly and easily on the web services that I have been asked to test. In addition to this, it has allowed me to export the projects, and with this, I can continue using Postman from home without any problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it is an excellent, powerful, and intuitive software for developing test themes, I am unaware of 100% of its potential but what I have used has been perfect.
A great plateform to test Api's
What do you like best about the product?
This plateform is superEasy to use and test Api's I really love using postman.The time of evaluation is really quick on postman. UI of postman is also superb easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its is hanging on my system i am using ubuntu for using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am an android developer and backend team provides me Api so before integrating it in my
app i first love to test the Api collection on postman.

If you face any difficulty in Api management I recommend you to swith to postman to make your Api management superb easy.
Using Postman as a very comfortable and highly customizable alternative of cURL util.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create templates, save queries and their results, tabs feature, built-in authorization module, headers setting, code snippets generation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's impossible to override some of the headers. I think this should be easily customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly I test my APIs with Postman.

Using multiple collections is troublesome
testing more than one API at the same time is not allowed.

You should add it to your kits as long as you do anything related to software.
Making the process of testing APIs so easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Using it is so simple. I remember when I first tried it, I was a complete newbie, and I was worried about how to use it. I had developed my web application, and I needed to test my RESTful APIs, and check if they were working correctly or not. In just 30 mins, I figured out everything. So basically I would say is, they make testing APIs very easy, and they have great User Interface (UI).
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no such big complaints, that I can make. However, I'd like to suggest if they can make the application a little more lightweight in future updates, then that would be great. This will help users who are using older laptops with older configs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have developed web applications and have written REST APIs. If you are making it for the smaller use case, or personal use, it might be okay that you don't test it or make corrections in a manual way. But, if you are working on a big project or professional project, you have to perform end-to-end testing. And for me, Postman made this task very easy and efficient. I can quickly figure out what is wrong, make the necessary changes, and test it again. I can check responses in various formats, can check all types of HTTP or HTTPS requests very quickly. So, it has helped in web development.
Postman is Best For Create and Hit APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly I have to Integrate the APIs and for it, I have to know What API is returning and what is the behavior. So every time I use Postman to hit the APIs. The Best part is you can add or remove attributes you can share your API Bundle with someone by link and some more things also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I always have a positive attitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I have to know the behavior of An API and at the time of Integration with Javascript and Apex I have to know how many variables I have to bind. So postman gives me all details when I hit the API in it.

There are some difficulties in monitoring test cases.
Some suggestions are expected if requesting API doesn't support the request type, it will help to the novice user.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes few request types are not easily to be parsed, or some mismatch in the request on the API side, which should be handled by postman.
Such as 405, 422 error code should be provided with sufficient information to the user to understand mistake in better way.

Easy to use interface makes it simple to get started and easy to automate and share as things get more complex or more people get involved in projects

It would be nice if the free sharing of collections was a little bit higher, importing a swagger/open api doc can quickly exhaust this limit.

It`s easy to create request and have clean interface. Free version has many great features

It's feature to create mockups is confusing.. I always end up looking for another way to test.

The organization that POSTMAN provides me is great, since all my requests are organized in one place. I can also create workgroups and share the information with my team.
Another very useful functionality is automatic documentation. As I create the API requests, the documentation is automatically generated. This saves an invaluable amount of time since its design is nice and it is very understandable

If you have a team that develops APIs and want to have everything organized, do not hesitate to use POSTMAN since it will allow you to save time and give you tools to facilitate this task.
