What do you like best about the product?
The best part about the postman tool is the simple rendering and usage of its features. Any newbie can use the device without much hustle. The Postman provides all necessary features like API testing, design, documentation, regression, collections, and so on, which makes the tool a one-stop solution to all the activities needed to be performed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The collections for API testing don't allow the user to use API-specific certificates instead made available as a standard-setting. This makes it difficult to add and remove certs each time the API request is made. The integtrations with other tool can be made better and easier. Security testing can also be added as one of the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to test the APIs of the application by creating collections and also individually. I'm able to run regression tests for these collections and also make the APIs run at specific time intervals. It provides a clean test report for the time taken with the number of passes and fails tests, along with status codes and responses. The time saved is vast as the tool provides a one-stop solution. I'm able to design and document the APIs which is created so quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
People can blindly rely on this tool to perform all the activities regarding API like manual tests, regression tests, sanity tests, design, documentation. It's straightforward to use and provides excellent support and documentation for accessing the application. Also, the tool is free and can be downloaded quickly, and can be utilized without any limit.
Great application for building API
What do you like best about the product?
While building API, postman plays major role to hit those APIs. It is simple and user friendly. UI also good

It will be better if it supports SOAP API also

The best part I love in postman is to dynamically declaration of the environments, global variables, local variables, we can also create scenarios that helps in testing
What do you dislike about the product?
Ummm, in the latest builds, I can feel some delay in applying environment changes. it does remain old even after selecting new env for around 10/15 seconds. else seems fine to me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using postman in our REST API development ad this really helps us in getting pace in API implementation. The benefit of the postman is we can create collections that are sharable things and because it's a plain JSON, we can easily share this. t doesn't cost you.
Best API Integration and testing tool for software developers
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about postman is that as an android developer i can test the request and response of the API , which helps in testing ant integration of API in the application
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing imports of collection of API was a bit tricky initially, but later with time it became seamless and much easier to use this as a daily tool when implementing new features in the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API integration, API testing, Utilizing a collection of imports , mocking servers and environments, which can help a lot to mock JSON response, Building automation e.t.c

A go to tool for my API Testing
What do you like best about the product?
It's best for API Testing, API request, and response checking and also can have an API suite to run it in bulk for testing an Endpoint. Also, it has an option to create a workspace for API testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing to dislike about this tool is that it doesn't have the option to test SOAP endpoints conveniently. Also, it takes a lot of effort to create a bulk execution suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for API testing for one of my clients. I have been using it for POST, GET, UPDATE, DELETE, PUT, PATCH requests, and to check the responses to have accurate data from MongoDB.

What do you like best about the product?
I can be very original in getting the information and guidelines for planned website creation processes. My clients feel comfortable with the results and the coding employed for speed benefits, unique security guidelines, and optimization patches. It has internal policies that help overcome the learning curve, which is a bit difficult.

No problems with Postman; I am happy I had the opportunity to get it to optimize websites.

As per my use, I did not find any dislike about Postman, because it provides all necessary features for testing my API and passing data to my API through postman.

Postman is the current leader in the market with full and mature features. You can collaborate your work with your team in the app itself. It allows to test for various environments and has an easy-to-use UI.

If your need is to test a few APIs with minor features, the postman might not be the best place as it has more features that make it complex and not so beginner-friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The clean interface and the availability in all operating systems make it a good software to use. Also, it is used by almost all organizations to test their APIs. Its is very simple to use and is also beginner-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about this software. It is a complete tool with all the required features.

It helps in many ways for me to test my web apps or to reverse engineer any website. Also it saves a lot of time and maks the process easy.
Amazing API Testing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a fantastic tool for both Developers and Testers to test APIs. The UI is relatively simple, but the tools are extensive. I like that you can easily "Beautify" code. The biggest pro is the ability to create a test case framework that comes in handy when we're doing automation testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue that comes to mind is that logging is not the most helpful in debugging issues, and there isn't a ton of documentation if you need help with understanding something. I haven't had a problem finding answers on Google, though. I've never used the "Professional" edition, so not sure how much better that is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm primarily using Postman to mock APIs and to test quickly instead of having to wait for complete application integration. Postman helps me catch any issues early on and modify the code/strengthen code quality.
