Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
The User Interface is simple and easy to understand. We can explain to a new user about the Postman's working and functionalities easily and the other person can quickly grab the things that we explain. The import and export of collections are top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike specifically. The collection export with version 1 seems to be faulty and not compatible with the version 2. If there is an inbuilt conversion , it will be helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The APIs testing have become easier with the Postman. The separation of params , Authorization, headers, body and pre-requisite scripts , tests and settings really feels better. It almost supports all the authentications right from 'no auth' to OAuth2.0
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For API development and testing, it is a must have tool. Certainly recommend

What do you like best about the product?
I like the best feature of the postman is to create an online workplace and share it with your team. Anyone can add any API and it will be visible to all. We can configure multiple hots and which gives functionality to change hots and hit the API instead of changing URL again and again. API Testing is a boost in it. configure your request thread and number of hits and you can easily test the performance of the apis. UI is easy to understand for a new user. Management of the apis is also easy as we can create separate folders according to the requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should increase the number of APIs in free accounts. Extracting and Importing should be more clear for a user. Some improvement is required in API Testing screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post helping developers to test their work, We test all our APIs with this. I can easily share created APIs with the team members using the online workspace. I can test my APIs with multiple threads and multiple hits to check the performance of the API. It gives finishing to a developer's work.

What do you like best about the product?
POSTMAN is that one app without which the life of every tester is useless. It has amazing features along with great interactive UI, which makes testing very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lags sometimes and takes time to get load otherwise, it is such a fantastic software to test your APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day to day testing of APIs and creating a collection has become way more easier also it is faster as compared with other softwares.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a free tool for API testing. It is a very easy to use and easy to deploy tool. It supports multiple plugins and 3rd party softwares. We can test API in a very fast and effective manner.Not much of this product is to be disliked as it is doing its job properly. But there are some minute glitches that should be fixed for a smoother working. For example, at times it is unable to provide a complete description of the API failure and that becomes a headache for me sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the time, I use Postman for the API call-related concerns to automate some processes like assigning user roles, running, executing, or planning the particular bot, downloading the processed, failed, unclassified and untrained files. I don't think there is any product that can beat the efficiency reliability that we get from Postman. But a small group of people might have considered Microsoft as their second option. But still, it is their second option; the first one is always the Postman.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Postman is its usefulness in converting the painful curls to the easy to edit data UI. The Curls were really really hard to use and required considerable effort to modify if you needed to change anything in them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although almost everything is good, it looks a bit expensive to me regarding the enterprise use cases. The price point, though, might be because they are the market leader in the segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for the purpose of API testing. The main benefit we have realized is its usefulness in converting the painful curls to the easy to edit data UI.

Postman is easy to use and effective solution for testing REST Api's, postman provides all the necessary methods to test API (get, post, put, patch, delete ), etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes postman took time to initial loading, so expecting a lightweight solution of postmen like chrome extension or vs code extension like thunderclient ! other than that everything is good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using postman for API testing and it provides all the rest API methods along with that it provides API call examples with Axios, fetch, etc. easy to make collection when we are working on multiple projects simultaneously .
Postman is useful, but hard to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very useful for calling endpoints. Using this services enables me to do my job better, and analyze specific issues with what is in specific endpoints. In addition, this is an awesome gateway into devolpment, and coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is hard to navigate. For example, if I want to export an environment file, one must navigate through a few different layers of buttons to push. The user experience wasn't bad but could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing postman allows me to look at the layers of environments we have set up. In addition, it allows me to focus on one piece of the puzzle (calling an endpoint) and see what our endpoint is spitting back out.

For API Development and testing, the postman is likely to be used. We can also make collections in postman and monitor our APIs through them.
We can check several things needed for API testing, such as response time, Status codes, errors (if any), etc.

The major disadvantage of Postman is that here we can not use the code again as in Rest assured, i.e., Code Resualblity is not there.
It does not tackle the SOAK APIs efficiently, and it is limited in the area of testing as well.

* You can manage and test your Rest Services easily by using Postman. Especially if you are a developer and wants to test your get, post or put requests it is very easy to use and test your services.

* It saves every call that you do which should not.
* If you are a beginner at webservices, I guess you need someone to teach you Postman. It is not easy to learn therefore I think it needs a better documentation.

* Testing my Rest Services. Therefore I do not have to use IDEs or implement something to test API Services as Postman is enough for me to test Rest Services.

* I guess it should provide better documentation. I believe that a beginner needs a documentation to send a request properly.
