One software for entire api collection test before integration into project.
What do you like best about the product?
Many exceptional features of Postman i like for example its very easy to understand User Interface and multiple plateforms like window,macOs,Lynux supported postman application.
- It has facility to group apis in collection to store them structured way.
- Sharing collection of api with cross functional team is pricelessly simple, it is very powerful feature of postman.
- It has facility to add teams members and continuously sync what one has in his postman collection.
- Talking about api testing is supersonic fast in postman .

What do you dislike about the product?
Threre is nothing much to dislike about postman however few point that can improved are
1. No auto formatting option in raw data posting.
2. Could have an inbuild pdf export feature to create report.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time and energy to test apis before actually using them into project. Big beneifts with it is testing of api collection atonce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a powerful too to have for development. I strongly recommend postman for api testing.
Postman is a great ad hoc API test tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple interface to test a web API. You can even share libraries of endpoints with coworkers too. We sometimes use it to run automated sets of calls to check stability. The application is fast and responsive and never seems to cause workflow issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The history of requests tab can get a bit hard to manage and maintain if you are trying to compare multiple calls to the same endpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web API work can be integration tested while decoupled from a working front end application environment.

This is the best way to send HTTP request for testing your API's. Very simple interface on how to send request.

I wish there were more training on how to use the program. I also wish that there documentation had more examples.

Creating requests - From basic GETs, POSTS, or PUTs, Postman can handle it all with ease. It's very straight forward and consistent to use.

The interface can be a little overwhelming and clunky, especially for newer users.
It is geared towards more complex situations, and the controls can be overkill for a simple request.
If you have a tendency to have dozens of browser tabs open, you will be overwhelmed with tabs in Postman as well.
Monitoring test cases - Postman doesn't have a great way to monitor your test cases. You can set them up in Postman, but I'd use an outside tool for monitoring them all.
Postman doesn't natively support web service testing. Again, if you require this, I'd still recommend Postman, just use an outside tool for this.

Postman is perfect for testing various HTTP requests with its quick and deep ability for manipulating the headers and payload. This makes it ideal for testing and debugging APIs and even simple web applications. Postman offers various payload types (raw text, JSON, form-data, etc.) and customizable HTTP headers. Requests are sorted into tabs, saved in collections, and recorded into a history -- all of which are helpful, but which can also quickly grow unwieldy if one isn't careful.

It is a very intuitive tool that has an easy to use UI. It has all the options to perform multiple http requests and has many integrations

It could use a cloud bashed sharing platform to help collaboration amongst teammates

What do you like best about the product?
The interface and preview options are great, you can save all of your API calls and structures so that you can easily go back and re-test or make adjustments. It's really a must-have for a developer.

There is really nothing to dislike about this software, it is quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to organize an entire API that I am building allows me to easily test and develop every facet of the programming interface.
Best tool for API testing by reducing the development time
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to send request to the API's by changing the parameters as we expect. And the user friendly interfaces and the output window makes it really fast identification of problems with end points and can do fast development changes. Also it support almost all the available formats for sending the requests like json, xml, text etc. Furthermore really easy to work with token based authorized end points. Overall it reduce the development time half when we are doing backend developments.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to getting familiar with tool is taking little bit time as it has lots of features. So that learning curve is little bit high. It takes some times to get familiar with options like work with teams etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost all backend API based response problems I identified with Postman and it is giving best support to test API's . Also i use it with my team mates to work as group and they can use my requests as well with this tool.
Best API Tool for Development and Testing of Any Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I have used every single time to test the integration of two Systems. It also provides you the back of all the projects which you have worked. Postman is the best tool for the Project Development of Web Sites. This was the best part I liked about the Postman. It also syncs data with the email account which was the best feature of Postman
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to point out the Postman disadvantage. It has improved day by day. They have notified of the latest updates which were better than any REST Client API Tester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, It has solved many problems. There was a scenario where I want to test the Production API is consuming the Rest Service which made possible through the POSTMAN Application. There was an advantage of the backup which I tested for the Develop Environment which helped me to improve the API Knowledge. There was a various method for consuming Rest Services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I would like to recommend for every organization to have an API Tool to debug the issue and provide effective services for various clients. It also provides you the backup and workspaces for the team Management which will provide visibility and communicate with all the TeamMates.
Easy to check Api and data structure
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, specially add collection export collection. I can easily check my Api responce with raw data. Also I can chech push notification (Firebase) , no need to go to Firebase console
What do you dislike about the product?
I have faced a problem. One of my url has space but it was show data but in app I could not found data.Then I found the space by put they url(GET call) into chrome browser and understand what was wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can send fcm push notifications easily , don't need to access firebase account ( Wep Api key needed)
