Review Postman API testing
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate different scripts using Postman APIs which reduce the human intervention thoroughly is the best part according to me. On-the-fly testing feature is something which I used to create APIs in order fetch data of all policies as a part of recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major reason being that the functionality ofPostman being so heavy makes it very difficult to run sometimes on normal desktops. As a result the system flickers while running the system which makes it very difficult to share it with my colleagues. Also, the connectivity with database is something on which some development could be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I was working in the insurance domain, I had to run different scripts before sending it to development. So I had to test these scripts thoroughly every time. That is where Postman helped me. Script creation with examples of validation with response time and response code.

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based and platform use is easier when it is synced and also easy visual, learning the tool ease the data responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not feasible for beginners who want to learn the tool or to understand the queries, so the user should have knowledge of SQL basics and then they can understand the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not solving any problem, but requesting and analyzing the API data from the client-server.

Best API Testing App
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the best way to test your local APIs and all other 3rd party APIs, Postman provides so many features like adding headers and scopes with a very easy user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it disconnects from the server and couldn't load previous APIs history, so we have to restart it again to get previous data from the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Postman for API Testing and it helps me to identify how the requests and responses work actually with Backend.

What do you like best about the product?
Since it is available across all Operating Systems. Syncing API collections among different platforms become a bit easy. The features like importing and exporting collections are the cherry on cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall UI while opening multiple tabs is a bit messy it is better if we do have an option to group tabs like we do it in google chrome. Moreover, some of its features are licensed whereas some similar open tools like Katalan studio provide it for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using postman to test and design API endpoints and to share them among my team using its advanced collection-sharing features. The overall readability of the HTTP requests and the responses was the best among its competitors as it provides a built-in JSON beautifier.

What do you like best about the product?
API cycles are difficult to manage, but Postman makes it very easy for me, it helps me a lot in automation. The best part about postman I would say is that it works with most of the client interfaces. Also it is very straightforward to learn by executing APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing i dislike about postman is when an APIs fails, the description provided for it is i feel inadequate, giving not enough information to enhance the check an any way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using postman for API testing and also as a part of our automation testing tool kit. I have used other tools for the same like insomnia but i feel postman is the fastest API testing tool available

To test the API without using UI interface postman is the besf option. Best thing we could directly import the http requests from network and import it as raw text and other such option

It solved my problem to test the web API without using UI. To test the API with proper evidences this helps alot

The widely popular automation tools provided by postman helps in simplifying testing and increase productivity for QA department. The easy to use interface helps any new user to quickly understand the tool and start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's advertised as an open source solutions but most of the popular features are curtained behind a paid service barrier. But nonetheless it still offers valuable services for the non paid version as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman's collections and test scripts provide us a wide range of QA tools. API integration testing is being done using postman only. The benefits involved are ease of use, simple UI and integration with other open source solutions.
The best app to hit third party Api's
What do you like best about the product?
This is the best app i have been using from last 2 years for hitting third party Api's and checking responses from them . The feature i like that is we can create storage for apis and store them for future use
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is good in postman however sometimes it doesn't give proper explanation of the error by hitting API, that thing can be improved further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using this app from last 2 years for testing API and the benefit i have realised by using this app is that it is quicker than comparitive apps and the dashboard is very much simpler to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
Made very simple and easy to develop and test APIs. The team workplace feature is great, helps different developers to work simultaneously. Exporting APIs in JSON format helps us to share and use postman collection on different devices. Covers every request and generates curls. Helpful in saving examples of the API which is useful when different people are working on the same project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be made simple for new users. The desktop version takes some to load after the device boot-up. Autosave feature should be added as sometimes if we forget to save the request important data like params and header can be lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a backend developer, creating and testing APIs for mobile apps and websites is made very effortless using postman. Sharing postman collection with other developers is a great feature, saving examples and generating curl requests makes it efficient to work together. You can work in different workplaces simultaneously which is the best feature.
