Best platform for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Postman
1. The interactive UI of the Postman makes it very easy to use. Even the dark mode theme is fantastic.
2. It saves the history of all the APIs fetched. So the previously used APIs can be accessed easily.
3. We can add query parameters and authorisation directly to the APIs.
4. It Makes APIs integration very easy.
5 It supports all methods like GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing Much to dislike, but sometimes the platform lags in fetching the API and only shows the data after more attempts. Also, the platform can be improved for SOAP APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-The best thing about the Postman platform is that it has a free version which is the best thing for students.

Posting web API request with postman made everything easier
What do you like best about the product?
My preferred API testing tool is Postman. You can accomplish practically everything with it right now, and it is simple to use. Thanks to it, I can simultaneously design, test, and work with API endpoints. The best feature of the postman, which I adore, is its capacity to interact with as many client interfaces as possible and its ability to support 13–15 different HTTP requests. I must admit that this product is very remarkable and appropriate for both large- and small-scale businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing about postman that I don't like is that it frequently crashes in the middle of my work due to its excessive memory and CPU utilisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can establish a team, share all the APIs with the other team members, and share the responses from the APIs I have accessed in either my private or group space.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman enables web developers to work on the web API efficiently and makes it easy to test and debug. It allows us to send different requests to our APIs and get the response in the format we wish to send and receive. It's very smooth, and collections are very useful for maintaining all the requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only cons that I see are it would have been great if we had the option to export all our collections as one so that they can be shared with our peers and other teams if they require it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of Postman, I can hit my Web APIs without using my application independently. If we have a request body, we can quickly call the API and debug it very smoothly, reducing time consumption caused by running the whole application which has to call the API.

What do you like best about the product?
I used to use PostMan since 2 years. The feature to call API's with param which is the main functionality helped me a lot. After making the API's I used to call the API's from PostMan and debug them.
The best part is if anyone closes PostMan without saving the API call details then aslo it will not get erase. It will remain intact.

What do you dislike about the product?
As such there is no dislikes for me but one thing is there that can help lots of people like to send File and JSON in a single API call. I've tried to send both but everytime second parameter getting null.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm used to write API's and for testing and debugging of the API I use PostMan. In the other hand to get API response which was made by others also I use PostMan.
It has a very nice feature of API collection, like I can make different collections of API's.
We can send File to a API call also. It helps me a lot in recent days.

Makes API development and testing so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy-to-use and just works! I can directly import OpenAPI spec files and Postman creates API requests for me. I can use the desktop app as well as the cloud version on the browser giving me a lot of flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be some issues with using proxies sometimes but it just requires some additional configuration.

Postman helps me create and test APIs. It makes testing so easy that I can focus on the development part. I can also quickly and easily generate code and documentation.
Best API Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It can be used to build, test and verify APIs. Workspaces and exporting, importing sharing are the best features. With the cloud-based version, it works very well for organisations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such to dislike, web version is no longer available and it needs a learning to use it properly with headers, file attachments etc.

I have been using Postman for a long time and haven't found many drawbacks.
The only thing I find to be a drawback is the complex environment setup for making API call for the 1st time user.

Being a frontend developer, it makes my work very easy to understand the API response and the payload required to hit any API before making the API integration in the codebase.
Test your API's
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is my only destination for testing my different APIs for my integration purposes. We need to type a few characters for the Headers, and we get the correct suggestion which makes our testing fast.The body format can be changed by just a single click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not an ideal tool for testing SOAP APIs. Apart from that, i like the tool very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Postman is solving is saving a lot of time while testing various APIs. The UI is also great, with all the details needed for testing.

As a software tester, it is very useful for me for API testing I can select the number of APIs in the collection for validating and verifying API, and its a very user-friendly tool

If a say honestly I am happy with Postman because all the features which I require all work very well I can do my work in a very proficient way , and it is the best tool for API testing and it is very popular in the IT field

As a software tester, I need to validate and test whether all the APIs are working properly or not in my organization at the time of software development so by this tool I can validate APIs'. It also uses to write functional test cases and regression test cases for the APIs
