What do you dislike about the product?
While Postman offers a rich set of features, there are a few areas that could be improved. One aspect that can be challenging at times is the learning curve associated with more advanced features and functionalities. Although the tool provides comprehensive documentation and a helpful community, some features, such as writing complex tests or utilizing advanced authentication mechanisms, may require additional learning and experimentation.
Another area that can be improved is the performance of Postman when working with large collections or executing numerous requests. Occasionally, there can be slight delays or lag when dealing with complex API scenarios, but it's worth noting that this mostly occurs in resource-intensive operations and does not significantly impact the overall experience.
Lastly, while Postman offers a free version with robust functionality, some advanced features, such as team collaboration and more extensive reporting, are only available in the paid plans. While understandable from a business perspective, it might limit access to those features for individuals or small teams with budget constraints.
Overall, Postman is an exceptional tool for API development and testing, providing a user-friendly interface, powerful request-building capabilities, and extensive testing features. Despite a slight learning curve for advanced features, occasional performance considerations, and limitations in the free version, Postman remains an indispensable tool for developers and testers alike, streamlining workflows and ensuring efficient API development and testing processes.

Horrendous customer support
What do you like best about the product?
It's a good way to send API requests and for automated testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer support is completely lacking. We purchased a license under the wrong name and hoped to get it transitioned to the proper company name, but they were unhelpful, repeatedly stating that a year-long subscription can't be canceled. This was a subscription I purchased that same day, so it seems incredibly short-sighted not to allow us to transition the license to the proper name.
Use them if you must but look elsewhere if you need any support.
