Saves You From A Lot Of Hassle!
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very handy tool, it helps in checking your API before-hand. It has made my life very easy and has helped me a lot and saved a lot of time for me as well. Not to forget the fact, that it is free to unstall and use which is very appreciable as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not beginner-friendly! Yes, the UI is good but when using it for the first time you will have to go through the documentation to understand how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing API before implementing them in real-life projects. It has been very helpful in the development of web applications.
Using only postman for api preview. Its the best of all!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Postman for about 3 years now, starting from a personal project to now also.
The best part according to me is:
1. The different types of ways to import the bundle of Api's which I receive from the backend.
2. How easily I can put my headers and payload (sometimes Form data) while calling the API helps me a lot.

What do you dislike about the product?
All and All the product is good, nothing as much to dislike, but even after so many releases, the apps get hanged always.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Visualizing the API, testing API before integrating it with the frontend saves time a lot.
2. teaching peers about the API calls that we use.

Postman is used to test the API and its response.
What do you like best about the product?
Postman gives a 100% accurate response for the back-end API written by the developer. The API URL can also be verified once the response it returns is as excepted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman software needs to be separately installed in order to work with it. It takes up extra memory in your computer. There should be a way to integrate it into the back-end tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman has the best option of adding an extension to chrome. It has an option to check get, post and delete APIs. These can be used to verify if the API is working before its deployed.
Easy to set-up just a browser based plugin
What do you like best about the product?
It's quite easy to set up the installation part as it is available through the extension as part of the chrome browser doesn't require any approvals internally for installation and easy to run the APIS using different calls to test the services of different applications.Easy to club all the APIS calls into their respective folder makes it a good handy option
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface has to be improved at times it looks more clumsy difficult to grab at one instance. The testing area is limited, it is not well designed to test the SOAP APIs and also the integration has to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verify the response through various methods and try to upload the file to the respective JIRA tickets with the attachments option and complete the testing which is assigned to verify the response and end to end integration steps.
Best tool for testing Apis

I use postman everyday for testing my local APIs before deploying then, helps in debugging and identifying the issues
Great product to call and test REST API
What do you like best about the product?
You can setup call to a REST API very easily. Its UI is very helpful for a new person who is not fully aware of REST API details. All of the API call related details are rightly placed in UI so that we know what details we can fill.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I disklike in the product. I just hope that this product stays free and accessible to all developers in the future as well. Postman team has built a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Postman we are testing the APIs that we are building in various platforms like Azure cloud, Mulesoft, .net code, etc. As we can save the API call specification, it can easily be shared with others in the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do utilize their feature of creating a profile so that you will be able to save and sync the API details that you have saved on one device and use on other devices.
Best platform to test API
What do you like best about the product?
It is the easiest way to test the API's before doing the integration. As a software developer it's quite useful, we can test all types of requests with sorting and filtering. That gives us the clear picture of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I dislike about it. It is very useful for tech enthusiasts in every way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before doing the implementation on my product, I test api's here with filtering and sorting.
An efficient tool in a development segment
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is that you can test different services in different environments. Its integration and testing of the REST requests are very effective. Moreover, it's a very useful and user-friendly tool for making API calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few flaws working with this API testing tool, and one of them is that it doesn't let you select requests folder-wise to run in the test runner, and it does not support copying requests through drag and drop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While developing web applications, it helps me for testing the REST requests in a very effective manner. Also, it keeps the history of your last used requests, which helps in re-using those requests if I want to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It allows you to maintain your workspace. [Postman] has folders to make your work easy, it's easy to share with your colleagues, and it also allows you to save the request info in my local machine. I think the most important feature is it's free to use. Overall, I find this tool very helpful. It's a good platform for user testing services.
