Best for api automation testing for software development and we can test multiple http testing like put post delete update

Postman is the best tool for API testing and automation. It helps to create documentation of APIs quickly and more smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman interface is much slower, take 4-5 sec to start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me to document and automate APIs for both development and testing.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is one best tool that helps in testing API for any kind of requirements. It helps the developers in customizing the pre/post requests using scriptng, environment variables, and other features as well. the new AI integration is also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The memory usage by the app with the collections loaded and also the cost structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In general to test the api connections we might need to write hundreds or even thousands of lines of scripting to test the api connections in most cases. with postman involved the api testing made easy and the time involved in script developments in no reduced to almost 0.

The user friendly User interface and variable storing and testing api's with so many options which provides for testing Crud as well as programming APIs

The main problem it software testing it solves that it became very easy to use to test api's and plus send different types of http request and give the automate and validate response
All in one tool to handle APIs efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
Recently, I have been using it for testing out web sockets powered by socket.io regularly for a month and still using, testing it out felt like a breeze. I have used other numerous features offered by them like the workspaces, insights. It allows to share easily with coworkers which helps to implement, integrate and document properly. I have never felt the need to approach their customer support till date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, used their extensions for VS code, web client, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing is much easier, helps to debug errors way faster than traditional checks.

Additionally, managing environments and variables across multiple teams can get a bit cumbersome without strict naming conventions or governance. A more streamlined way to manage shared workspaces and enforce standards would make collaboration even more efficient.

Postman is solving the challenge of fragmented and inconsistent API development workflows by providing a centralized platform for designing, testing, and documenting APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most liked features in Postman in we can generate scripts using Postbot and can schedule the run of the collections at the specified time, and we can do performance tests as well in Postman, so this is an all-in-one tool for API testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature I didn't like about Postman is, if the script stops in between the collection execution there is no option to start it from there again we have to run whole collection or we have to deselects the API which is already executed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most useful thing about using Postman is we are using it for API Automation in which the collection will execute daily at the specified time this will saves time for our testing purpose as I am a QA it saves so much time it is intergal part of our daily task and for the functional test we use the Postman to execute the API's.
