Postman User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The account is free to use; Any developer can easily afford the application, create the profile and start working on the new collection and request. Even there is an option to import the JSON. We can easily share the JSON with others, which holds all Collections and Requests with all headers and body filled in. So for me, it's an excellent option to work with; since I am primarily working on APIs, This application is more beneficial for me. Everyone in my Organisation is more aware of hitting the API through this application; It is also one reason I'm feeling better about using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the headers saved in a request disappears and come back. It seems to be some syncing issue with our profile. If that were rectified, the app would be better. Providing Authorization parameters in the collection sometimes goes wrong. Suppose we are giving the token for a Collection and using the same authorisation param to be inherited for all the requests. Sometimes it's not taking correctly, and I am entering the authorisation header separately for the individual requests within the collection. The login process can also be developed within the Postman application rather than redirecting to the Website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very much helpful in hitting the services Locally. Passing Parameters is much easier with the input formats available, and even the excel format can be downloaded in the form of bytecode as a response. Since all the Collections store our Account Profile, we can sync it anytime on other devices, whichever we log in to, even after many days.

What do you like best about the product?
As a business owner, I can query and request information from the database directly from Postman App without having the necessity to install the codebase or database setup on my local machine. This helps me run quick checks without having to consume my developer team's time
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any. Maybe the initial onboarding experience and the learning curve for business users can be further simplified. I was not very successful in persuading my marketing team to use the app to extract quick data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and seamless access to JSON data. Easy to keep the code modular and help multiple teams access the systems without posing security risks. Both tech teams and business teams in our organization use Postman very effectively and has saved us many man-hours.
Makes API development and testing so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy-to-use and just works! I can directly import OpenAPI spec files and Postman creates API requests for me. I can use the desktop app as well as the cloud version on the browser giving me a lot of flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be some issues with using proxies sometimes but it just requires some additional configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me create and test APIs. It makes testing so easy that I can focus on the development part. I can also quickly and easily generate code and documentation.
Test your API's
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is my only destination for testing my different APIs for my integration purposes. We need to type a few characters for the Headers, and we get the correct suggestion which makes our testing fast.The body format can be changed by just a single click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not an ideal tool for testing SOAP APIs. Apart from that, i like the tool very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Postman is solving is saving a lot of time while testing various APIs. The UI is also great, with all the details needed for testing.
Easy to use, simple yet very powerful
What do you like best about the product?
We currently use postman to test the hundreds of APIs we have with our ERP (PLEX). We have found postman to be a crucial part of our analysis prior to developing an application since it allows us to review input/outputs for HTTP Calls
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, for the use we have with this application, I cannot recall anything I dislike about it. It is so easy to use and allows for cloud sync so that you can work on the go; Postman will save your collections, APIs, Environments, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is solving for us API testing before developing an application; this is especially helpful in figuring out the resources needed to create projects that need to function as RESTful web applications.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is one of the best in market products for testing newly developed apis. Heavily relied on Postman for this purpose. It has many features like adding authorisation headers

Good option for API testing and development
What do you like best about the product?
We can save our workspace and share it among our fellow employees. All the options are clearly visible in the menu, with simple UI and more handy features like documentation we can easily maintain with this.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no such dislikes which I'd found in this software. I found some difficulties while using the collections feature of the Postman. Else things were fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, we used this software for API development, maintaining documentation for our list of APIs and used it to validate the results as on the live server.,
Powerful tool to evaluate and tests our scenarios and speed up developments
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the option to save my collections and navigate public collections to speed up any development and learn from mapped services. It's also great for the feature for variables, it's a fantastic way to test among different sandboxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have it, but sometimes I get lost between my public and private collections and where I am editing. But I guess this only happens because usually I only had contact with this tool during the early stages of the project to validate some API usage and logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is accelerating the learning curve of new API integrations like okta, Microsoft, and Autodesk. With several collections of APIs mapped and Variables, it's easy to test and validate customers' scenarios before spending some time implementing them.
Postman A Perfect API calling Platform
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test REST API in postman. We can set the environment for collection. Using the environment we can easily manage authentication and global variables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited to a single developer if we need to contribute to the same project then need to purchase a paid plan. The autosave function not working. Sometimes we lost data which we not saved by clicking the "Save" Button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using postman we can easily test and check any REST API. This is the best option to test REST API. It really solved API sharing and testing problems. Using postman a developer can same many times.
Very good software for API development and testing
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collections features for bundling the APIs, which helps in creating APIs and keeping it organized for easy access. It has a very good UI and user-friendly user interface and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developers should come up with a lighter version of itself having features which are most used so that it can be used in fewer memory systems freely. It is free, so there is nothing to dislike.

Postman is solving the basic problem of API development and testing and easy access of our API collections. Also it is solving problems faced while working in a team by providing various features.
