Postman is one of the best tool to develop and test APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is available both offline and online, which makes testing easy. We can share the workspace using postman's collection, which is entirely collaborative and helpful for large-scale organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no such dislikes about the postman, but sometimes, working with HTTPS APIs, certificate validity does not work and makes it challenging to test for local APIs. UI can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Postman for API testing and implementation on production and maintaining documentation of APIs. Postman is very helpful for the collaborative development of API.

What do you like best about the product?
We use this tool at several different stages within the SDLC. Very easy to re-use APIs built by the development team, these can be passed to QA department where the tester can utilize it as a base to perform different functional and performance tests. Once these stages are passed and API is in production, we leverage the previously built API to facilitate the creation of a Synthetic Monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Concurrent API test can't be executed and there's no straight forward way to share individual tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman allows different teams to test APIs for different purposes without starting from scratch, the re-use of artefacts saves a lot of time.
Very handy tool which does not require solid technical background to start using it

Postman provides a simple UI with powerful features. Basic scenarios can be created even without a solid technical background.

Supporting hundreds of complex scenarios can be not very convenient.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-QA engineers without strong tech backgrounds learn postman very quickly
-Great documentation, and free courses makes Postman a great tool for beginners

Postman helps us to streamline the process of API development, testing, and documentation. Which leads to an accelerated development process and reduced costs for our team.
Postman for fullstack developers
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very useful integration tool. It has a very easy user interface. It is very useful to be able to collect your ready-to-use requests and test them again and again with the collection structure. It is very easy to share sample requests with export import capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
linux distribution has minor bugs in user interface can be improved further. It is more helpful for the first experience as it does not force user account creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the opportunity for web service developers to test their own services without a user interface. it also helps them to analyze the request structure by sharing these requests to the people who will use the services.

Postman is good software for API testing and creating apo collections for all development projects.
We can use this software to test all api calls to see the response and we can export it

Sometimes its get hanged when hit any api calls and it wont respond
Its get loading and take so many time to give the response

Postman nowadays giving updates to correct their User interface and performance issue and sometimes loader also

Api testing became easy with postman
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test the api response . It supports all the methods like get, post, delete..
We can give custom request headers.UI is very friendly. We can easily edit the api and change the query parameters. There are no CORS restrictions as well

Too many unnecessary suggestions. Nothing else to dislike it is such a wonderful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easily helping me to test the api or create the new api. It is so easy to see how the api's behave with different headers and query parameters. We can create a directory consisting of all the api for a project

What do you like best about the product?
All API Methods included. Easy to use. Best Platform to call API.

Very frequent updates. other than this nothing till now.

Easiest Dev tool ever
What do you like best about the product?
Using http methods without creating front also look so easy using postman tool. I really love how easy it is to use anyone can use it even without tutorials required. What I love the most is that postman is so easy to verify authentication and authorisation of an app as well. All we need is a server running/starting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about it because it has given access to everything that I developed needs from a tool. However I was wondering if postman has auto-complete in it so that it'd be event faster while I type the JSON data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman saves a developer's time a lot. We don't even have to integrate the back end with front end without integrating also we can easily apply https method using this tool. It is not platform specific so it can be integrated easily with other text editors/applications.

What do you like best about the product?
Their GUI makes testing API's incredibly easy. They offer so many useful tools that help me efficiently test new and existing API flows. It makes building new backend tools much faster and provides me with more confidence in my testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike about Postman. I think they could work on improving how shared collections work as well as being able to share environments with values but other than those they have a really great product

They make testing incredibly easy for testers and developers alike. Being able to import from external sources, create collections that the team can use and build flows really help speed up the SDLC
