Only way to work with API's
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to quickly start testing out an api with postman. You can easily put in your parameters, send the request and start getting data. I love that you can save you settings and that the software is free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any criticism of the product. I'm sure if I used the full potential and features of the product I would have something I wish was different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps you to easily get started with api's without having to write any code. I think this speeds up the process of working with an api.

Best app to work with API
What do you like best about the product?
Great experience with Postman, easy to use and most comfortable app to work with API, to execute scripts and check kind of responses.
Most exciting thing about Postman is that, even starter engineer can manage everything clearly.
Really useful one to test lots of methods and moving from one to another with just one click

What do you dislike about the product?
Main problem for me is low number of free shareable APIs.
Also I would like to have detailed descriptions built in app for all methods.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily basis I'm using postman for debugging, and it's one of the most important software in my PC.
Working on CI / CD and for this process I frequently need to execute scripts on localhost. And every time here is my Postman <3

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the best and simple tool for working with the rest services. I have used with SOAP also but since i use rest more so i like postman the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now there is nothing that i dont like. All the functionalities are best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
testing the services before they are deployed and testing them from all aspects. Also the various authentication mechanisms inbuilt like basic, oauth2 are added advantage

This is a very simple and best tool for working with APIs.
API management Tool - Postman
What do you like best about the product?
It provides collection feature that You can manage specific type of API calls in one folder like structure. It also supports code generation for API call. It have very simple user interface and it is easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that while doing specific API call postman crashes. It was while working with Oracle database.Although I did not find any problem with postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developed backend server APIs for testing solution. Also worked with Angular 6 and developed API for it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is very helpful in API testing. If you are doing manual testing of APIs and managing it. Postman is the tool for you. You can quickly learn and try all the calls. It supports all the HTTP calls available.
Great tool to manage API
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very complete software for API management. It has tabs for each request, very useful to have a whole project loaded and to be able to do tests very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very complete but it does not have translation for other languages, only English is available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software is a fundamental base in the development of backend systems of my company. You can create workgroups very easily and you can export all the advances without problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend it, the interface is very well structured so that all functions are always in view. It is completely free and has many updates. I love working with Postman.
Best tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
As developer testing my API before deploying it or integrating it, makes me realize if my code is secure and it's performing as expected, it allows me to test across different environments while safely storing my environment specific variables so I don't have to retype any info or to have many tabs to test the same thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of UI customization, and sometimes the updates tend to fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently working as a Front-End developer so I rely on an API, testing how the API will deliver the data and also testing the fail scenarios of the API allows me to plan beforehand my code so my code is as clean as possible and prepared for any scenario coming from the API.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an one of the best API tools.A simple and friendly user interface is extremely easy to use.It is not only for API tests but also for developing,debugging, and publishing APIs. Postman supports both automated and exploratory testings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It not a good professional tool for automation testers and developers. User can set test cases in Postman but there is no great way to monitor them.User should have used another tool for monitoring them.

Postman provides some great and outstanding features such as an advanced test framework,user can share APIs with workmates easily through importing and exporting them and creating mock servers for APIs.

Postman is a fast,flexible and friendly API tool.Quickly it can access to headers and responses.It is created detailed documentation of our API.Postman is great for move test around to different environments and systems.It is affordable as the product.
Simple interface to store and use APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is refreshingly easy to use for anyone - developers, engineering managers, product managers, customer support. Its one of the products that make you wonder how things happened before they were around.

I like the clean interface, ability to organise APIs in collections and share with the team and flexibility to change parameters in calling APIs quickly. There is a test automation feature also available but I have never been able to make good use of it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike in Postman. I would love to use some sort of test automation, where I can run all APIs in a collection at once and compare the results against expected outputs. I believe something on those lines already exists but have never been able to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helped to quickly test APIs of my product. I could also organise APIs in collections which enabled me to share them with development team.

Just go for it, especially if you are trying the free version.
Tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
It is very handful tool for Any kind of API testing. Woks with any language and even it can generate some of code snippets for API calls. It supports all kind of API calls like, PUT, POST, DELETE etc,
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Postman from last 2 years. I did not find any bugs or flows in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developed many API testing collections for company and myself. I have find postman very helpful when you need quick testing of any server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest all the IT guys who are working or students who want to make their career in IT just use postman for API testing and management. It is easy to learn and simple user interface.
