A Game-Changer for API Testing
What do you like best about the product?
Postman has made API testing super easy. The user interface is intuitive, and the wide range of features makes it a one-stop shop for both beginners and advanced users. The ease of integration with different services and platforms is a huge plus. I use it almost daily, and the tools for automation and testing are fantastic. implementation is also very easy , you don't need any documentation for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and complexity of some advanced features can be overwhelming for new users. However, the extensive documentation and community support make it easier to get the hang of things over time. and the customer support is great whenever I've run into issues, the support team has been quick to respond with helpful solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman has saved me a lot of time and effort in testing and automating API requests. It helps me catch errors earlier and improve collaboration across teams. With better integration and automation, it’s become an essential tool in my API development process.

Postman simplifies the entire API lifecycle from designing and testing to documentation and monitoring making it incredible valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited version control,no native support for GraphQL subscription or websockets and also not ideal for full CI/CD integration out-of-the-box.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used both SwaggerUI and Postman for API testing, and I can confidently say that Postman offers the most intuitive UI and rich set of features. It allows saving requests, identifying potential errors before execution, and provides an overall smoother testing experience — something SwaggerUI doesn’t support.

While Postman is excellent for manual and exploratory API testing, I find that it can become slightly heavy when working with large collections or extensive automation.
Also, integrating test scenarios sometimes requires additional scripting, which could be more streamlined.

Postman quickly identifies issues thanks to its detailed response analysis and built-in validation features. The platform's ability to save requests, organize them into collections, and automate test runs greatly reduces the time spent on testing and helps maintain consistency throughout each testing cycle.

What I like is that it’s really simple to use for testing APIs and creating documentation. Very simple UI and easy accessible features.

Sometimes I don’t like about it is that it starts lagging when too many request tabs are open.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the POstman puts all the tools I need for testing APIs in one simple place.It makes complex tasks easy, like sending a test request ( like a GET or POST) and checking the answer. I can save all my tests in folders callled collections and share them right away with my team. This makes working together and teaching new people much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much that I dislike, but I have noticed that the main program installed on my computer can occasionally run slowly, especially when I use it with several large test folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman tackles two significant challenges for us: it streamlines the process of working with APIs and enables our team to stay more organized. In the past, testing APIs was time-consuming and involved manually writing code, which made the process much slower.

The best thing about Postman is how you can collaborate as a team and organize your workspace and collection. It has lot of features which makes it suitable for novice and experienced people.

Some times its too much for simple requirement, there are other light tools for that.

Postman helps me in testing the APIs I developed by enabling me to send the request and view my responses, so that I can make sure its working as designed./
Its also helpful when I'm trying to integrate to any new third party systems, where I can see test if the connection is working and see the initial structure of the request and other headers.
