What do you like best about the product?
One of the main advantages of Kong is its flexibility and extensibility. It supports multiple protocols and can be easily customized and extended with plugins. Kong also has a powerful control plane that allows developers to manage and monitor APIs using a web-based dashboard or API.

What do you like best about the product?
The performance is great and it support wild range of platform from POSIX installation to Docker and K8S.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will be more appreciated if can streamline the plugin lifecycle and putting resource to encourage community.

What do you like best about the product?
When we first decided to procure the Kong Enterprise Gateway, one of the main selling points was the extensive library of plugins that were available and allowed for extending the base functionality of the gateway in various useful ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a viable alternative to Informatica, so the overall features are limited
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make the API readily available in a very short time which, compared to other solutions, would take longer to finish and ultimately delay the production depliyment.
Using the Kong API Gateway made it easy for me to manage a complex system and streamline my workflow

What I like best about Kong API Gateway is how feature-rich it is. It provides a lot of functionality, so it's easy to customize and extend. And it's also very user-friendly, so it's easy to set up and get up and running

One of the things I dislike about Kong API Gateway is that the documentation can be a bit confusing to interpret. It's also not always clear which features are essential for a specific use case.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked kong for high-availability clusters and includes an extensive range of plugins to address cross-cutting concerns, including authentication, security, rate limiting, throttling, transformations, analytics and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kong Console User Interface is not that much great

Centralized management of APIs specifcially when it goes via egress

Kong API gateway has a simple manager GUI that facilitates the configuration; it is easy to get started fast using this GUI. Also, plugin support and modularity are big advantages of Kong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation would be better if it contained detailed steps for configuring Postgres.
Also, datastore support is limited to Postgres; it will be better to support other DB like MySQL.
