Kong gateway one stop for all your API Management
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of kong gateway is the centralised management of all the API and it can be managed on multiple clouds and onprem. The best part is the hybrid deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just started exploring. Will have to get there still.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and we can scale the service as per the requirement also it is the most secured one for microservices and distributed architectures. Great performance too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing but the credentials are provided by the admin as we customers can't change them, and customer care support needs to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems of microservice like load balancing, monitoring each microservice, fault tolerance and some other features also , need to explore other things too, as the requirement comes or need to see other things as of now as mentioned above I currently using.

The key features are nice, load balancing and gateway itself and the flexibility.

We replaced all the microgateways and Kong is much more stable and flexible

API management - as we are heavily making use of it for api management

Nothing as of now as I have not come across any difficulty

It is easy to manage all the apis and its routing in microservices

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how lightweight Kong Gateway is. It doesn't hog your system resources at all, which is a huge plus. Even if you're working on a laptop or a machine that's not super powerful, Kong runs just fine without slowing things down. You don't need some beefy server setup to get it going, which makes life a lot easier when you're just trying to get work done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Kong Gateway is pretty solid, but the documentation could use some work. When I was getting started, I found the initial setup instructions a bit confusing. It would be awesome if they had more beginner-friendly tutorials or step-by-step guides that walk you through the basics. Maybe some video walkthroughs or real-world examples would help new users get up and running faster without having to dig through forums or Stack Overflow.

I have been using Kong for my personal projects ita kinda great and helpfil for me, i been learning a new things fast

I really like the ui/ux of it, seems easier to understand and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I face dificuly in integrating it with various api testing platform, which later I sort it out. But yeah you can improve your docs on intergeration with insomnia.

It is solving my problem of creating an instant api, for an urgent requirement. I used Rapid API before, but liked Kong over it.

Although all features are interesting, I do not quite prefer monitoring processes and it might need to expand to provide more plug-ins

There was nothing to dislike as such, the product serves its purpose to a great extent and minor inconveniences can be ignored because of the overall package it provides
