What do you like best about the product?
Our API management and deployment has been more efficient with Kong, especially when managing and load balancing the number of requests that come in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of yet, but as we expand our capacity, we may need to see the availability of additional features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API deployment and load balancing was an issue and that is now resolved
One of the best gateway solution with well thought architecture and documentation.
What do you like best about the product?
Wide-range installation support with pre-made containers made the deployment process seamless. Support of rate limiting, third-party monitoring integrations and large community-developed plugins which can easily be configured makes it widely superior to other competitors.

What do you dislike about the product?
Support for Data transformation layers for legacy apps can be a big plus. UI can feel a bit sluggish and can be improved.
Apart from that not a lot of complaints,kong is pretty solid. It took care of all my use-case, and its performance is top-tier.

It eliminated the necessity of handling multiple REST services.
Different Transformation plugins made communication between various services seamless.
It took care of our scalability needs and was very proficient in handled large concurrent traffic.

Kong's Simplified API gateway
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Kong API Gateway is a great choice because of its lightweight nature, also it's ease of installation, and ease of use even for beginners. Moreover, it has an intuitive user interface that is sleek and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Kong API can be expensive for smaller teams, but apart from that, I cannot think of anything I dislike about Kong API. It's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitors API requests, manages API requests, and due to being lightweight, it saves a lot of space along with the time. Also, it's additional functionality to APIs and services puglins helps alot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us decouple of microservices architecture vai API design and allowed us to scale at individual component levels. Also created to our scalability needs at each component level with flexibility for configuring security options. We now serve around 17 million customers daily on new applications driven by Kong Gateway.
Simple to use and configure, works great and very resilient.

Documentation and user friendly interface and support when paying customer

The cost of some features like service mesh where Istio is free and as good product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This resolved the complexity of handling and creating host addresses for all APIs that we are currently hosting. The gateway is the way to go to handle all different traffic coming in and out of the K8 cluster.

Kong API is an excellent API Gateway service that allows for multi-node scaling It also grants low-level access to traffic control and monitoring of inbound and outbound traffic

Kong API has been great There have been issues with support management and pricing, but these issues are minor

Slightly expensive for small team, rest all is decent about kong

Have few APIs in to host and manage as part of my organization, makes my task easier.
Kong Admin API was very helpful and Kong Manager made things easy.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about kong API is it can run on Kubernetes. It helped us load balance the users and logging. We were just testing. We will Increase its use in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now everything is going great. It would be helpful if the documentation also includes screenshots or expected output and if kong starts certification that would be helpful in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We developed a traveling application with API on the backend and React on the frontend. We used kong as testing and found it helpful in load balancing and logging.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides the least amount of latency and is highly reliable. It's quite flexible and powerful. Setting up was pretty straight forward as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks community support. It needs to gain popularity so that ideas can be exhanged in a better manner.

It helped me manage the microsrvices better. It made the development process a lot simpler for the microservices.
