Reactive and qualified customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Customer support: as it's pointed in the tilte of my review, customer support is the main strength of Axway. Of course, technical solution provided by Axway works fine and fully fills our expectations, but with any application, we always face to problems, and I think it's in this kind of situations that you can really evaluate the service quality.
Most of time, incident is treated directly between Axway and the external partner, so we just have to ensure that the resolution is going well. We can also easily contact a kind of VIP support to deal with commercial questions or tricky technical issues.
Actually, Axway is a real partner which mobilizes all resources (customer relationship, technical support) to follow our project, from start to end, in best conditions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Workflow to resolve incidents (it requires many emails to close a case). Since everyone has to treat more and more emails each day, it could be nice to simplified the workflow. It could reduce the risk to not consider some other important emails sent by Axway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Axway service allows GRTgaz to securized exchange process with partners, which is absolutely critical for our business activity.

Complicated but great software!
What do you like best about the product?
Once you have the software set up, it works great. The customization is endless so the implementation was complicated. We are very pleased with the processing of the flat files and X12 files.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use an older multi value database so there was not a plug and play method to communicate. The implementation was complicated and there were some challenges with getting the right support. Once we got the right support people involved things worked out very smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are processing flat files and xml to integrate with multiple 3rd party systems. Additionally we are converting our EDI transactions from an old system. The time that we will save onboarding will be significant.
Excellent, Secure EDI File Gateway Product\Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Our company has thousands of trading partners and we use the Axway Amplify B2Bi platform to handle all of our file gateway processing for EDI transactions. In our supply chain business we need 100% uptime and the ability to scale, have redundancy and fault tolerance. Axway has provided a solid product for this plus it features an easy to use customer interface that our team can use for setups and monitoring. We have recently started exploring using the APIs more and finding success in automating some manual work with API capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a dislike per se but it is very important to have the proper infrastructure with high levels of performance to get the most out of the product. We host on our own infrastructure and even slight interruptions with virtual machines, memory, etc. will cause issues. It requires a high degree of performance tuning to get the most use out of the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the problem of having an always available, 24x7 EDI file gateway that runs with redundancy across multiple data centers. We can now leave our file gateway running while we complete maintenance and also have an easier time with restarts. This can help avoid any downtime with partners being able to connect and send critical EDI transactions. We also rely on Axway to help utilize the latest connectivity and security protocols and cyphers.

Solid Reliable B2B Application
What do you like best about the product?
B2Bi is a very solid and reliable B2B application and has been for many years. The organization and layout of the application features makes the UI very intuitive. The Tracker feature allows easy and complete visibility of transactions. Partner setup and maintenance features are well designed. Certificate management is the best I've seen in an Enterprise level B2B/Ecommerce application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of communications (Gateway Interchange) and translation (Integrator) makes the application a little heavy if only communications is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this product throughout it's life cycle. from the Cyclone acquisition through the many product version roll-outs, Gateway Interchange to Interchange to B2Bi. This tool has been a valuable solution for our company's B2B growth and transformation.

What do you like best about the product?
Different possibilities for implementing a EDI-flow, lots of protocols supported .

Due to the feature richness, a rather steep learning curve.

What do you like best about the product?
B2Bi, together with API Gateway, is the fundament of our Axway integration platform. The possibilities of integrating between man and machine are endless. We are able to respond quickly and smoothly to the requirements and wishes of our customer. And, of course very important, also being able to implement things quickly. And so, we are very satisfied with Axway B2Bi and API Gateway, as well as our customer.

In the beginning B2Bi requires some more effort than you would expect to fully understand the product. The possibilities are then endless. In addition to a training that is really indispensable, it is nice to be able to make use of Axway consultants' expertise on location.

Where we had to develop a lot in the past, we can now easily use the extensive options that Axway offers.

Migration from older version of Synchrony Integrator to B2Bi is not straight forward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal Interface connectivity, External Client ERP connectivity. Trasnformation of messages with Mapping services and eaze of intergration with those maps back to B2B is an added advantage.
My positive experience of B2Bi (EDI) at the Coop
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibililty of the software to talk to multiple vendors using various file formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of transparency of Idocs vis SAP. Anything using the Integration pickups is not tracked in message tracker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the Coop to link up external systems (out of our control) and internal systems, (of varying technology types)

I would recommend, but make sure you do e2e testing with heavy loads and multiple endpoints
