What do you like best about the product?
The implementation team understands the requirement and business needs and provides excellent guidance through the process.
Both the technical and merchandising team's support of the group is excellent.
The platform is intuitive and has adequate reporting to cater to the needs of both business and technical team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recent outages are a little problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift platform caters to the needs for us for both transaction and promotional email.
Event tagging and flexibility in the platform to ingest the data help us build excellent retention and personal campaigns.
Blueshift team is our go to team for all our promotional email campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blueshift is an excellent platform for retention and promotional campaign. Blueshift platform caters majority of the requirement. For specific custom requirements team is very creative and open to the ideas to adjust the platform.

Unlike airship, it gives the ability to track each user on a user level.

Migration from other tool like airship is supposed to be less painful.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer data management is top notch on the platform. Built on elastic search, you'll have little issue storing and accessing almost unlimited amounts of customer data. Segmentation and activation is fairly intutitive and can be applied to a variety of channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very nacent multi-channel messaging features. Most established ESPs have many more advanced features that Blueshift is still developing.

Unified customer data management and multi-channel campaign orchestration

What do you like best about the product?
I like best that Blueshift allows hands-on assistance through various channels such as customer support live chat and a personalized Slack channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the biggest fan of the UI in the journey builder. I would like more drag and drop action and simplier language across their logic filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to map out automated recommendations to our subscribers. The benefits are to have less ad-hoc marketing campaigns and allow the AI engine work its magic.

The engagement heat maps. The instant feedback is so helpful for our team to get a visual pulse on what content is resonating with our users.

Wish the save time would be a bit faster.

We did not have sophisticated segmentation or personalization capabilities with our homegrown system.

Wide range of capabilities to execute an omni-channel workflow

What do you like best about the product?
We've found Blueshift to have the widest range of capabilities out of any CRM / customer journey tool that we've worked with. We are able to use their cloud app capabilities to make outbound calls to customers and then based on the outcome of the call, serve them specific journeys via email, SMS, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blueshift's interface is far less user-friendly and intuitive than other platforms. In addition, their Blueshift Academy and learning features are not as easy to find or well documented as some other ESPs like Hubspot, Marketo, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to execute custom workflows for multiple segments of customers. We are also able to send triggers to other platforms to complete custom actions like making calls through Five9 or uploading files via SFTP.

Learning Experience - Continuing to Grow and Evolve

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI, and the changes that were made with the content creation platofrm. I really see a lot of value while using the system, and checking on the insights quickly and easily for us to get exactly what we need to adapt and piviot.

We've gotten a lot out of the system thus far, and are continuing to learn on how we can go ahead and imrpove our day to day use. So far, after a bumpy start, I think we're on the path to success and hope to see it stay down that way.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now we're just learning the bumps and brusies that come along with a new system as fresh as Blueshift. Utlizing their API to get the data in is something that we're learning and leaning on to be a bit more successful for us.

There were a few bumps in the road when we first started out using the system, and learnings from both sides, but really happy to move past that and have some successes with the system going forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We come from a system where automation was next to impossible to do, based on a past implementation from a system we switched off of. With Blueshift we're quickly able to see and automate our emails out so we can now do successful customer success streams to show that we are there for our customers after the fact.

We also have some better insight into our data so we can use that to really go forward and push. I think what we've seen here so far with Blueshift is a step in the right direction for us to be moving in a new, correct direction with email marketing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to come ready with your questions. Be ready to understand the importance of making sure everything you do is complete and can be fulfilled by the platform. Research, do your homework.

What do you like best about the product?
The customization offered with email and SMS templates is a big appeal factor. The segmentation is very customizable too which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation, although very customizable, could be more user friendly. Makes creating a relatively simple segment feel like a software engineering task

Send time optimization, resending emails to non openers. More segmentation and customization sends

If any company is looking to expand their audience and have a very customized approach to their subscribers, Blueshift is the way to go
