MANAGED FILE TRANSFER PRODUCT - CG and CFT , Secure Transport
What do you like best about the product?
Easy for implementation purpose and maintenance purpose.
CG is central system which controls the CFT by pushing the configuration and flows in a easy manner
CFT is stable product when it is used in Standalone manner and will work without any issue in a longer run in a company.

What do you dislike about the product?
In CG , certificate part is bit complex where complexity can be reduced by not using Governance CA and can be proposed with alternate approach as most companies won't provide CA authority for signing certs
In ST , When integrated with CG , its functionality/ feature is not under CG control and hence some features are not under use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way of file transferring and use of post and pre-processing techniques used in CFT , maintenance activity of CFT is simpler using CG.
In ST , this offers multiple plug-ins which can be used for latest technology for file transfer

Secure transport have been used in SCB as a Channel for most of the clients
What do you like best about the product?
It is lightweight and easy to configure and most eficient secure channe which we can offer to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
this is little transactional, Secure transport uses a database internally with in the tool, in order to access that database and verify the client configurations and other file related , it is not straightforward to connect to back end. but this is not a essential feature needed. only at times we may think of accessing the MYSQL DB of Secure transport
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is a important channeling service for us, HTTP, SFTP and many other protocols those clients want to connect. ST server being strong secure channeling tool, without much configurations at client end it accepts the connectivity and helps file transfers.

MFT is a secure file transfer software with ease of use and less complex configuration tool.

Amplify MFT is a stable and reliable MFT solution, which covers multi-platform, multi-protocol, multi-network capabilities

In the very specific terms of usage in our environment, the support doesn't fit our needs

If you need a stable, performant and reliable MFT solution, I don't know a better one.

This platform does not have the ability to promote configurations through NonPRD environments and then to PROD.

The latest ST 5.5 version offering more & the latest functionalities that are leading and required for business needs

The authentication should be limited to strong and should not be offering to basic auth ex: few connectors like S3 , SharePoint etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration between different platforms, Monitoring and maintenance centrally as a managed Product. Velocity of transfers are quick and secure using PESIT protocol with compression mechanism. Agility of Support team is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is not comprehensive and needs a improvements on it. Also, requires lot of testing on every fix release before hits for public release.

Data exchange through increasing volumes of files across applications in a secure, consistent and predictable manner, and fully meeting the expectations from customer as well as regulatory is key for successful existence of the any enterprise in the market.
