the only downside is that sometimes our client already has a file transfer product from another vendor with another protocol not compatible with CFT................

there should be some advance feature to track the failed files and pop up notification could be helpful for these failures

Please use this tool , as per my experience i have a great experience using AxwayManaged File Transfer seamless integration and very userfriendly GUI.
I am a BCP flow manager, rather satisfied with Axway products.

The documentation in French does not exist, especially the delivery of examples for implementing new features.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Transfer CFT and Gateway for file transfer.
We used Transfer CFT for Internal Transfer (Server to Server). The best thing about it is that it is available for almost all operating systems.
We used Gateway for file transfer between the organization and external partners. The most significant advantage is it supports many Transfer Protocols. This flexibility allows customers to choose the way they can connect and send files to the organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
The most painful part is reporting and auditing because the products are disintegrated and do not have inbuilt reporting tools.
For the Transfer CFT Agent, since it is installed in each server, maintaining it is laborious, i.e., for service pack and version upgrade

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer switched to Axway MFT from the old FTP server to have a more secure and easily managed file transfer process. Compared to the previous system, switching to Axway MFT allow application more control on their file transfer.

What do you like best about the product?
For big infrastructures, it helps to understand where the files are and how/when they are moving across the company. When well implemented, it can have a fantastic performance.
Also, having a specialist vendor like Axway allows you to go deep into the MFT capabilities and how it can help your business.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is a product with a long history; therefore, it has so many configuration possibilities. This may sound great, but in actual production, it can be a pain, as you need to test it very well to be sure it will behave as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With more than 3,000 servers and more than half-million file transfers every day, we barely have issues in production. The automatic retry mechanisms work fantastic, so you don't have to worry about minor connection cuts.
Been able to push thousands of files to different destinations at the same time gives the business the sensation that they are working with synchronous solutions (web services, API), while in fact is the same IT programs, just working faster.
And finally, from the operation point of view, been able to answer the affirmation: The file didn't arrive! It's a great experience.

- SecureTransport offers a solution for all requirements
- With already some experience, SecureTransport can be easily configured
- SecureTransport is highly stable and reliable
- The External Scripting Route Package Step and RestAPI. This means that an almost infinite number of individual solutions can be built.
- In many cases, SecureTransport can be used to build several different solutions.

If you have dealt with MFT for a long time and have gained a lot of experience with it, there is actually nothing that you really don't like.

We implement the requirements with SecureTransport. There are solutions only, not problems.

Making recommendations is not easy without knowing requirements and needs.
Excellent help desk and readily provide support even account manager and professional services.

There is no integrated, holistic view of transfers, especially to see for a month or year for reporting purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highest security standards to transfer the most critical financial files to many of our partners, including the topmost banks and financial institutions.
The SFTP connection did not break even when we had a DDoS attack on our SFTP servers.
