Umbrella
What do you like best about the product?
Umbrella is a light program that does a good job. It definetly helps us limit what our staff can get into
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a couple of issues where umbrella wasnt functioning correctly. It was more of a timing problem because we were going into an audit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping us limit what our users are able to get to. Its helping to secure our network by limiting access.

What do you like best about the product?
I like about the working of Cisco Umbrella. Nowadays Cyber attacks are very common and developers and companies are struggling to save their assets and Cisco comes up with the feature of protecting from cyber attacks. The gooththing is it blocks the request before anyone trying to connect with the different server.
Very ease of use, and it will always in the system so you don't need to manually do anything, ease of integration. Protect us from Malware, Ransomware, Phising and other attacks. Customer support and resolution is top-notch.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like is some-times it fails to load when we change the Wi-Fi address or change to other network. It might due to setting-up the internal parameters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is securing the gateways so that it is blocking from the fraud profilers. It provides the vast securities. It is very helpful for those whose primary focus on the developing, web gateways and DNS because it is protecting us from the wrong profiling.

Cisco Umbrella offers security in various platforms.
It Block domains that are linked to malware, phishing, botnets, and other risks.
This functionality can be enabled to block users from accessing non-malicious domains.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty expensive, however its fine to be expensive inorder to protect the stuff from digital threats, phishing and malwares.

Easy deployment with agent's, usually doesn't break the things.

Amazing tool for securing the cloud apps
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Cisco umbrella is there set of features which provides a way to filter the content and management application security over the internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing as such to dislike about Cisco umbrella. They are heading in right direction but cost can be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Cisco umbrella for securing out applications and secure access to the internet and control cloud app usage. By unifying secure web gateway, firewall, DNS-layer security, threat intelligence, and cloud access security broker solution.

The umbrella overall is a great solution and nothing to dislike except difficulty of deployment and limited customization

We are monitoring large volumes of network traffic and dns traffic, with advanced alerting and securing environment from advances phidhing and malware attacks.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides protection against cyber threats through DNS layer security. It provides comprehensive visibility into internet activity across all devices and users and makes it a strong choice for organisation with large remote workforces.

Some users have noted that Umbrella could improve its data loss prevention capabilities to better protect against exfiltration of sensitive information

Keeping us secure. We are seeing the value overall as a powerful solution that combines security services, simplifies deployment, and enhances protection against threats. After encouting a compromised risk in the past, we have been at ease with Cisco.

Time is Money and that's what according to me Cisco Umbrella defines in it's concept of providing multiple security and threat intelligence services under one roof.
What do you dislike about the product?
Charging per user interaction even for a group of users or an organisation. As i have never personally viewd the plans but my organisation uses it so I have heard this as a downgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Umbrella helps us in securing our inbound and outbound internet requests by using advanced machine learning techniques to filter out malicious content. SIG and SWG are some of the features used in this to expand it's capabilities.
