Sage experience Overview
What do you like best about the product?
1. JE booking with multiple dimensions
2. TB Review for corrections or changes
3. Custom reports per our requirement per system limitations
4. Synchronization/integration with tools like Bill, Nexonia,Avalara etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Few things we need to consider for evaluation are:
Contract module customization should be released to capitalize on AR scenarios.
Customer support should also be flexible to get any queries with respect to the work is answered & resolved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounting of the transactions made easy & TB, financial report we can pull out at one go..
Intacct made accounting easier
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Intacct for the last 2.5 years almost all working days and it is never boring, we can code journal entries with ease, and the creation of GLs and checking accounts made it as easy as custom reporting as well.
Integrating with Ava tax and other software was good.

What do you dislike about the product?
Below are the points for your reference.
1. On the transactions related to the AP / AR Payment application it will not allow us to see the details for which invoice the payment has been received or Paid.
2. After AP / AR payment applications, if there are any Forex Gain / Loss arises the same issue it will not show the details on the screen about the invoice Number if it's updated it would be helpful.
Except above observations I have not found any reason to dislike Intacct.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Providing reports to clients has become easier with the reporting module for example Vendor / Customer agings, BS, and P&L reports.
2. Bank reconciliations, here we are using SIMPL integration with Intacct to do the reconciliations of almost 12 bank accounts it's helping us to update the transaction on a daily basis and perform the reconciliation.
3. Purchase Order module, our client is using the travel / Non-Travel PO module in Intacct from there our team is able to get the invoice to process in BILL, it reduces the communication chain happening to get the invoices.
4. With all these updates we are able to provide the monthly reports to clients on time.
5. Doing consolidation with Multicurrency entities has become easier with one click button.

Easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn and navigate. Detailed account/gl information easy to drill down. Financial reports complete. Works well for grant accounting and reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to chang the accouting periods if different from presets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting of functional expenses makes audit process easier. Able to break out expenses by department and/or project for grant and audit reporting. Better tracking of grant revenues and expenses. Ease of processing accounts payables and invoices.

mostly in project reporting i see a number of features and dimensions from which we can generate the report for decision making.

Lovely Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use, it is very intuitive for older members of the staff. I would use this software anytime. It has a lot of cool features and it is hard to use all of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the least helpful thing is that every add on has a cost.

Fixed assets, ap, muti entity accounting.
Modern and Useful System
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has a very modern and user friendly feel, and most of the options are incredibly straightforward. We use the system constantly, and the menues and options are quick to load and very intuitive. Implementation was incredibly smooth and Datel has provided excellent customer service throughout.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain featuers which we find to be incredibly frustrating, for example there are no easy options for inputting a customer or supplier refund, and allocation isn't availalbe - everything has to be "allocated" via payments. So, if you want to write off the full value of an invoice, you must raise an adjustment and create a nil balance payment in order to apply the credit memo. Integration with API allows for quite a few features, however documentation is a little dated and hard to follow as terminology differs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Sage intacct is solving for us surrounds reporting. Creating reports is much more simple and straightforward than Sage 200, and the use of dimensions allows for more in depth reporting.

Reporting system is amazing. Plus it is much smoother compare to netsuite.

We can improve it more like adding help section where we can watch vedios and add more helpful tips

Our organization has full version of Sage Intacct but I am using AR part only.
it is best software to record large number of according transaction and very helpful to allocate the cash received.
we can easily track all pending AR items through AR aging.

customization sometime seems difficult.
if you wrongly applied payments to particular transactions then you have to manually reverse all the transactions one be one there is no other way which seems difficult sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use integration with Salesforce all the invoices gets autosync to the software so we do no have to make much efforts to take the invoices into the software.
also the cash application is automated by our it team so we just have to check if all the transactions are perfectly recovered.
best part is that software is cloud bases so we can view and share the data accross the globe.
