Sage intacct- Review
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is pretty powerful, especially when it comes to financial management and automation. What I like best about it is the flexibility and scalability it offers, especially for growing businesses. It's really designed for companies that need robust financial reporting, multi-entity management, and real-time visibility into financial data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Over-Complicated Setup & Customization, Performance with Large Data Sets ,Complex Reporting for Non-Finance Teams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This reduces the manual work required for routine tasks, leading to increased efficiency, fewer errors, and more time for strategic decision-making.
Love it! It’s powerful & intuitive, has deepened my understanding of financial reporting.

I've been using it for 4 years & having found a downside yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is helping me solve the challenge of managing complex, grant-based budgets across multiple fiscal years with clarity and precision. It allows me to create customized budget vs. actual reports, automate financial workflows, and track net assets by grant in real-time—saving time, improving accuracy, and giving me greater visibility into our nonprofit’s financial health.
Accounting Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The automations on Sage make getting the busy work less busy! I now have plenty of them to review and give attention to more time sensitive and consuming matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far no complaints that I have for Sage Intacct
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is helping us keep of our financials all in place and not having to look in 10 different places. We don’t have to rely on manual entries a majority of the time since it syncs to our procurement software
Archaic, non-intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. I dread logging into Intaact each day. It's like going back 20 years to an old, outdated system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The entire user experience is lacking - poor design, non intuitive, overly complicated. The fact that we have to go through a 3rd party consultant is insane to me and shows how they don't want to empower customers to be able to use the system on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our accounting software - for financial reporting and AP.
Easy to use and not the end of the world when you make a mistake.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Sage Intacct is to use. It is also easy to remedy mistakes, which allows me to not get stuck worrying something might not work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to see the accounts Sage Intacct touches when using its built in features (e.g., prepaid module).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in the Healthcare industry, and Sage Intacct solves the problems I need to there.
Awesome cloud based accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
It is cloud cloud based so you can access your financial data anytime, anywhere, which is ideal for remote teams and multi-location businesses. It has a user friendly interface and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Strict formatting on the csv files for JE uploads
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our teams work remotely so it is easier easier to use cloud software that is not to complicated.

The customizable dashboards and real-time reporting are incredibly helpful for making quick, informed decisions. I also like how dimensions let us slice data without needing a ton of different accounts.

The user interface feels dated and not intuitive. It can take new users a while to get comfortable, and some features are buried and hard to find.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Sage Intacct has greatly improved our financial operations with its ease of use, user-friendly interface, and rich set of features, there are a few areas where it could improve. The initial setup and customization can be a bit complex and may require assistance from a consultant or support, especially for companies with more intricate accounting needs. Additionally, while the reporting capabilities are powerful, creating highly customized reports can involve a bit of a learning curve. That said, these are relatively minor trade-offs considering the overall value and functionality the platform provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is solving several key problems for our organization, particularly around financial visibility, efficiency, and scalability. Before switching, we struggled with manual processes, limited reporting capabilities, and managing financials across multiple entities. Sage Intacct has addressed these challenges by automating many routine accounting tasks—such as approvals, journal entries, and consolidations—which has significantly reduced errors and saved time. The multi-entity and multi-currency support has made it much easier to manage our growing operations globally. Most importantly, the real-time reporting and customizable dashboards give us immediate insight into our financial performance, enabling better, faster decision-making. Overall, Sage Intacct has improved our accuracy, efficiency, and ability to scale, which has had a direct positive impact on our business operations.
Installed Sage Intacct 2019, best solution worked with in the 35 years of using Accounting Systems.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has allowed us to streamline almost every account process we had to do in other software systems. It has eliminated the need for paper and filing cabinets: automated Company credit card systems, ACH Payments, and Automated Budgeting through integration with Martus. During COVID, we would not have all been able to work remotely in Finance without Sage Intacct. The bank reconciliation process is complete within 5 days of the month's close. We create a robust Purchase Order process with multiple levels of approvals. As the CFO & COO of Intentional Life Media dba Family Life Radio & Intentional Living, I would recommend Sage Intacct to anyone struggling with an outdated accounting solution.

I reaaly do not have any issues with the functionality of Sage Intacct.

One stop solution for accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Easy extraction of reports and user friendly custom reports generation makes it easy for businesses to analyze their results in more effective manner. Along with facility to capture different dimensions while recording entries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generation of GL tabular report which is not a standard feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It fulfills needs and requirments for my client business which is cost friendly too and has lot of advance features that makes management reporting easier.
