There are a lot of possibilities in Sage, however I'm still trying to get my footing with using it
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the reporting capabilities are diverse and that you can really drill down on specific dimensions. I also like the whole methodology of "dimensions." They create a cleaner set of records and allow for a lot of customization
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike that we cannot edit AP Bills after they have been paid. In our old system we would often use this to modify coding or split a large bill between many departments. This was cleaner than doing a manual journal entry and kept all of the data together int he same record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is helping my team solve the issue of not having good reports and an easy way to distribute those reports amongst different deparments within the organization
User friendly accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage is very user friendly and that there are links to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the reports take a while to load for the bigger entities (more data). Usually when running a report for one of our entities, we have to run it month by month because running multiple months can cause it to time out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving our needs to use multiple softwares because there are different modules.

Sage Intacct is an excellent cloud-based finance solution that provides real-time visibility of our school's financial operations. The automation features significantly streamline complex accounting processes.

The responsiveness of their support team can be slower than expected, making it challenging to resolve issues promptly.

It addresses several key financial management challenges for our organization. It automates complex accounting processes, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors, which saves us significant time and resources.
Need Training before using Sage Intact
What do you like best about the product?
Able to have more than one branch , IT HAS THE FEATURE to run multiple branches

the discount does not always pull through and some times very slow

The way it is easy to navigate and find certain information with a few clicks.

I struggle to find the balance sheet and p&l reports straight away, i beleive some of these needs to be customised and set up but using a tb is what i need.

VAT returns and MTD is what i am benefiting from
different that what i am used to.

Very easy to use, reporting is made easy and there are many reports already in the system to use

Obviously , wihtout any doubt it's capabilities in reporting and dashboard which gives management immense benefits to take decision for the operational and financial areas to maximize the profits and work in ithe interest of the stakholders. Ease of implementaion, Ease of use, Customer support, ease of integration , and many more best things about sage intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes import error file and email creates confusions for the correct treatment or difficult to understand how can we resolve the error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with the help of quaterly updates Sage intacct is solving the bugs, unfixed problems , and new developments general or specific to industries and these all benefits to all the sage users.

1. Intacct provides cloud-based accounting and this feature is very helpful to users.
2. Provides best reporting options, especially on custom reports.
3. All the vendor records filed are in systematic order and easy to locate each field.
4. Intacct provides custom features according to integration to other software like Bill.com, Stampli, and Ramp
5. A few automation fields in accounts receivable, payables, and general ledgers are very helpful and reduce manual work.

1. Intacct does not allow users to download custom reports at the entity level but allows them only at the top level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are very few accounting softwares that are intergarate with organization's payment and reimbursement tools. We were finding difficult to integrate and sync all those transactions to single accounting platforms, however sage Intacct is helping us with this integrations. Another problem that we were having was extracting the accurate and live reports, but Sage Intacct made it easy, and now we can customize and pull reports for the live dates.

Additionally, some users may find the learning curve for more advanced features to be steep initially, especially without proper training. However, these are areas that can be mitigated through custom integrations or with additional resources and support from Sage.
