Sage Intacct has a lot of useful automation and integrations!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Sage Intacct is that it does intergrate with a lot of other cloud based systems. Their customer service is exceptional and very helpful. Their team is very knwoledge and always find a way to make things work! It is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our credit credit card module is set up in a way were it currently don't really work for us, it will soon be reimplented and fixed.

What do you like best about the product?
As a non-finance leader, it's very easy to approve invoices and view reports without having to go through training. Simple and easy for my limited uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be fewer clicks to see invoices/attachments or previews to know what we are approving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are able to provide an API into out internal systems that was a challenge before.
My experience using Sage Intaact has been overall positive. It is an Intuitive system.
What do you like best about the product?
-System is relatively easy to learn, as this is the first company I've worked for using Sage Intacct.
-Sage University is a useful tool for someone like me who is new to the team, it gives me an opportunity to learn many useful upfront before my coworkers even train me on my specific new responsibilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Journal entry process could benefit from a function to paste debits and credits directly into the system as oppossed to uploading a CSV file.

Good system for your accounting needs
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very easy to use and learn. It's very cut and dry. The journal entries are easy to make and they allow you to add a process where the entry can get approved by your respective manager. Intacct has the ability to import journal entries through excel and also provides the formatted excels. They have a "Help on this page" feature that gives basic details on how to use the page you are currently on which acts as it's customer support. I use Intacct frequently throughout the day. They have a feature to increase the time before being logged out which is nice. We use Criterion at our workplace. Intacct is ability to integrate criterion in the system so that it can import payroll entries directly into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creation of general ledger accounts is way too lengthy of a process for use in POs. You have to create the account, then create the account group which is just the account, then you have to go in and manually add it to the PO module so people can code expenses to it. The help page is good, for basic needs. If you need advanced help there's no real place to look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct has allowed us to create reports that we can use to report to our funders and cut back on time. We had issues in the past with submitting on time due to the numerous funders wereport to. Now we just run the report and submit that. Takes an afternoon.

If you are looking for a step up from QuickBooks Online it's an ok next step from a price performance perstpective compared other options out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cumbersome to use, more complicated than it needs to be compared to QuickBooks Online, banking integrations while improved oculd be better and customer support is inconsistant.
It is not easy to integrate with outside programs you have to go through a complicated process anytime you want to integrat someting into Sage Intacct.
Sage is not easy to use it's contracts module is overly complicated and cumbersome, the canned financial reports available in Sage intacct are mostly useless and usable ones are hard to format.
Lastly the implementation process was a very painful experience.

We out grew our prior accounting software and needed something more robust, we had a good subsctiption management package but we needed an underlying accounting package hence we went with Sage including their contracts module.

What do you like best about the product?
I can say that Sage Intacct has enhanced our organization financial tactics due to the following reasons. It provides me with a strong set of core accounting solutions such as general, account payable/receivable and cash management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up reports such that they generate specific drill-downs or selected statistics is not easy. This lack of flexibility – specifically, the inability to manipulate data precisely as I need it – can make my analysis inefficient or even necessarily require export to other software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Sage Intacct is a suite solution, it saves the need to have several accounting applications in the financial management process. Real-time reporting, improved thinking and scalability capabilities are key elements that make it central to its accounting functions.
Sage Intacct Is My Go-To Software For Accounting Needs
What do you like best about the product?
We use Sage Intacct for all our accounting and finance needs. We love that it is in the cloud, and all of our division leaders have their own custom dashboards so they can monitor their revenue and expenses in real time. This allows them to make better and informed decisions about their budgets. They have access to their data 24 hours a day. We also use it for all invoice approvals and allows us to have a record of those approvals. All of our reports come directly out of the system, so there is no need to use Excel or other software to manipulate reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
My employee users need to be able to print dashboard reports on demand - that is missing

That was a huge consideration when choosing software. Sage was able to accommodate this requirement for us with the accounts payable module. The way we code expenses and track our restricted spend, the GL allowed us the ability to set things up that met all of our needs.
