Satisfactory
What do you like best about the product?
Payment Application process and reporting module. Very user friendly and straightforward. In case of errors or reversal theres no confusing on the resolution process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bank reconciliation module: There should be a feature that it lets you match bank transactions against each other when needed. Theres also the issue auto matching happening to no actual entry for any JE submitted from the bank reconciliation module directly. Making it very hard to find discrepancies.

Our consolidation of multiple entities, because it makes the day to day process much easier and

What do you like best about the product?
Sage has been great with my first year using it! I really love the options for reports, I love the fixed asset module. The approvals are great to set in place, the customization of my preferences are fantastic too. We have been able to integrate many of our outside vendors. The Asset Edge team is great too! I love love love the "help on this page" feature! I don't have any other Sage products to compare to, but I love Intacct!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, and I know it's for a security reason, that I struggle with is not being able to use Sage on multiple desktops at one time under my login. I utilize numerous screens and having different desktops open would be very helpful. I also would like to edit AR after payment has been received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AP efficiency, 403b integration, payroll integration, recurring invoices, bills, journal entries, etc. HUGE time saver!
SAGE INTACCT
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is very user friendly. It is easy to get help directly from the software. It integrates well with my company software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at this time. I have found no issues.

The platform is fairly easy to use, and has many features appropriate for my organization.

1) Support engineers do not always listen or accurately note the problem.
2) Support engineers do not always respond timely to critical issues.
3) Support engineers seem to take "scripted response" instead of thinking about and responding to a concern/problem.

Intacct replaced an obsolete accounting platform.
Intacct is quickly becoming my favorite accounting system
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is easy to use, easy to learn. Working with multiple entities is seamless, you have full visibility and can customize how you want to consolidate within those companies. JE's and attachments are simple you can drill into any detail you want. Very organized, concise, and there are a lot of dimensions you can use to organize per your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of downsides, I'm happy with it my accountants love it. The custom reports is great cause there are so many options but it can be challenging to get what you want. Its the one area that is less user friendly, requires a little extra skill and determination to figure out. The regular reports are user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Global consolidation helps a lot when trying to consolidate financials between entities in different currencies.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation was straightforward and it has reduced the number of hours it takes to accomplish any tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had to customize the integration with TractionRec/Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All accounting functions are streamlined. The integration we built with Salesforce seamlessly brings in our revenue, integration with AP and expense management, seamless integration with Martus. We are able to close each month much more easily and more quickly than in the past. The reporting function is good.
Better than Quickbooks!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the organization and the ability to add many attachments and organize those attachments within folders. I also enjoy the ability to set up and customize the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like the functionality isn't the most intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I typically have deposits that consist of multiple invoices from multiple periods of time and I think the deposit function to pull them all together is super helpful

What do you like best about the product?
There is really efficient design in just even the basic package of Sage Intacct. The automations in the AP module and in the General Ledger can save so much time and energy. There are really intelligent rules that can be created in the Cash Managment module that save so much time and basically automate what used to be a very manual arduous bank reconciliation. Sage Intacct has a real presence in the market and so when we are using a third party service for say, Payroll, they are familiar with the product and provide in most cases a direct API or at a minimum an easy import. I really appreciate the ease of import in general with Sage Intacct - and it goes for almost everything, JEs, Bills, Bank Transactions. Any time we have had trouble getting an import template to work, the customer service team has been so quick to get back to us with helpful, detailed answers. The customer support team is so great to work with and helpful, and it brings a lot of peace of mind given how critical this system is and the fact we're using it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admittedly, I was not on the team for implementation, so I can't speak as much to that. Having come in after implementation, I did need to take some time to learn this system. Unfortunately I found the team that was part of implementation still needed to do the same, as over a year later they were still only using what they needed to get the day to day done. Three years later, we are using almost every feature available to us, and we could have eliminated a full time role with the automations and efficiencies we now have in place. Honestly, you just have to take the time to read and learn how to use this system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is saving us time in the AP automations and in the create rules as part of Cash Management, the Bank Transactions import/upload, and in recurring and memorized JEs. Each of these give us the greatest benefit of time back day to day and that accumulates so quickly. It has freed myself and my team up to take on other projects and help out other teams as needed, knowing that all the while the monthly entries, the bank reconciliation, bill pay - none of that will suffer.
Sage is a great software with lots of potential
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is pretty user friendly. The support team through Alliance is very knowledgeable and replies with solutions and explanations or will schedule a call to work through tickets. I do like that we can build almost any kind of report that we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is the inability to customize. Such as changing the font on checks, adding fields to incorporate vendor insurances and their expirations.
