What do you like best about the product?
As a cloud-based solution, Sage Intacct offers impressive speed and user-friendly simplicity. It provides a comprehensive range of features that meet all our needs without feeling overwhelming. Its intuitive interface makes onboarding and training new staff straightforward, significantly reducing the learning curve. Thanks to its ease of use, our month-end close process has become smoother and more efficient than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback we've encountered with Sage Intacct is that the permissions system can be quite complex and difficult to navigate. This often leads to challenges when training new staff, as it can be confusing to set up and understand the appropriate access levels. As a result, it sometimes slows down the onboarding process and requires extra time to ensure everyone has the right permissions to perform their tasks effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has significantly streamlined our accounts payable process, providing us with better control and visibility over our bills. Its automated workflows and real-time tracking ensure that all invoices are processed efficiently, reducing the risk of missed payments. As a result, we can confidently pay all bills on time, maintaining strong vendor relationships and avoiding late fees. The system's user-friendly interface and clear notifications have made managing our accounts payable much more straightforward and reliable.

Sage is best accounting software I used

What do you like best about the product?
I think Sage has a simple feel to it (like a quickbooks) but offers much more deeper functions. It doesn't feel complicated like a lot of accounting softwares I used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think when doing a bank reconciliation, I do not like how it seems to be hard to filter through the data sometimes. For instance, if I type in a dollar amount, it doesn't pick it up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Sage is helping solve timeliness and accuracy in financial reporting. Aspects, such as banking rules, help automate the process.

What do you like best about the product?
I believe the help function is very useful, on any given page you are able to get specific information on any issues you might encounter. It is very easy to use and was a seamless transition from our prior accounting software. We use Sage daily for hundreds of transactions and the functions provided when creating Journal entries save a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything I dislike about Sage, if anything it is more restriction placed on certain accounts, but nothing directly related to the actual software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compared to our previous software the benefits are substantial. A task that previously took 30 minutes for example now only takes 5. What used to take 5 reports to analyze certain data now can be combined into one. The customer support with Sage is incomparable to our previous software.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI and intuitiveness of the software allows all finance users to become more involved rather than just being data entry members of the team

The implementation was not the easiest and the implementation team we used was difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Members of the team just being data entry. Automation of processes has freed up time to allow them to be more involved in all areas of finance.

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the accounts payable capabilities and the ease of paying and approving bills and payments. The import features for credit card activity and payments is a plus. Fixed Assets is also easy to use and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inventory system is clunky. And I don't like it for our direct care staff to use for requesting items from inventory. Creating and customizing financial reports is NOT easy or user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage has not helped solve any problems.

Efficient and Customizable, with Room for Process Flexibility

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of Sage Intacct, the system becomes much easier to navigate. The layout is logical, and many of the day-to-day processes become second nature fairly quickly. It’s a robust system that offers strong reporting capabilities, flexible modules, and good customization for accounting and finance teams. The ability to track transactions across multiple dimensions is also incredibly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when the system doesn’t align perfectly with our internal controls or business processes. While Sage Intacct is very capable, we’ve occasionally had to create manual workarounds when the platform couldn’t accommodate certain workflows out of the box. It would be great if the system allowed for more flexibility without the need for those extra steps. That said, we’ve always been able to find a way to make it work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many ERP systems, there’s a learning curve, but it pays off in long-term efficiency. The platform is well-suited for growing companies that need more than just basic accounting features, and the support resources are generally helpful when issues arise.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage is a multi level accounting software system that allows for all accounting purposes. It is your one stop shop for AP, AR, Financial reporting, Bank recons, cash management and all day to day accounting functions, It is also a 'tailored' system per your requests, when implementing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage allows for SO many specific tailor-to-need functions for whichever industry you are in. It can be utilized in so many different industries, it isn't built for just ONE specific industry
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that we can use Sage for ALL our accounting needs, and not have to use multi systems to achieve one goal.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Client Relations Manager, my main priority is staying organized and having quick access to accurate client and financial data. Sage Intacct gets the job done. It’s reliable, provides the core functionality I need, and integrates well with other tools we use. While the interface could be more intuitive in places, the reporting features and automation capabilities have definitely improved our workflow. Overall, it’s a solid platform for managing client-related financial tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct is effective overall, but some tasks could be more streamlined. For example, sending multiple outstanding invoices requires individual actions, which slows down workflow. The interface can also feel a bit clunky, with some processes taking more steps than necessary. A few efficiency upgrades would make a big difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct fills key gaps that our primary billing tool can't cover. It offers more robust financial reporting, better visibility into client accounts, and handles tasks like invoicing and revenue recognition more efficiently. It acts as a strong complement to our existing systems, helping us manage financial operations more completely.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team was great! And once it's up and running, it makes closing very smooth and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transition and onboarding was chaotic. We had 3 project managers change, and confusion everywhere. Transition period was prolonged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AR portion and the billing is very easy to use and it simplified the entire process.
