Massive upgrade from Sage 200 - solid system and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of functionality which is easy to use. Nice and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need quite a few add ons in order to use the program fully. AP and Credit Control - would be helpful to have it in built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidations - means we can do it all online rather than in excel.
Powerful but Could Be More Developer-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is great for developers because of its solid API and easy integration options. The API is well-documented and structured, making it simple to connect with other apps and automate tasks. Pulling data and customizing reports is a breeze, which is super helpful for building custom financial workflows. Since it’s cloud-based, it’s scalable and gives real-time access to data, making development more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features require workarounds, and the documentation, while detailed, can sometimes be unclear or lack real-world examples. Debugging API issues can also be tricky since error messages aren’t always specific enough, and there aren’t enough logs to easily track issues. Additionally, the UI for admin tasks and setup isn’t the most intuitive, which can slow down configuration and testing. While it’s a strong platform overall, there’s room for improvement in making development and integration smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the recent launch of its REST API, Sage Intacct has made integrations way easier and more modern. It simplifies data exchange, boosts automation, and makes building scalable financial solutions smoother. Developers no longer have to rely on outdated workarounds, and reporting, multi-entity management, and overall workflow automation are much more efficient now.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the automation and integration capabilities of Sage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike any part of Sage. It made the transition to a new software very easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving daily journal entry and bank account checking.
Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is a fantastic program for accountants. It helps maintain clean books and records. It's multiple features make it easy to duplicate entries, set up recurring entries, and pull up information for tax and compliance audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
To date, I have not found anything that I particularly dislike about Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving the problem of the difficulty in finding a program for accountants that is easy to use and can be customized to each individual company's needs with it's many features.
Love Sage
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Sage Intacct for its user-friendly interface and efficiency in managing financial processes.It makes coding invoices and processing payments seamless,which helps keep everything organized and on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I’d say negatively about Sage Intacct is that some processes feel a bit rigid, especially when making changes or corrections. It also takes a few extra steps for tasks, which can slow things down a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps streamline financial tasks, like invoice coding and payments, saving time and reducing errors. It also gives better visibility into finances, making it easier to manage budgets and expenses, so I can focus on other important tasks. I also like the reports, but they could be more AI-friendly.
Fewer Spreadsheets required
What do you like best about the product?
Previous systems did not have a Deferred Revenue module. Being able to have Deferred Revenue forecasts available at the touch of button has saved hours of work at Month End.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations of the Avalara Tax. The Tax calculations are not available in the Accounts Payable or the Credit Card Transaction modules. This makes reports incomplete. Would like something that covered ALL modules that deal with tax transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forecasting Revenue Recognition. Consolidations of companies from multiple international locations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the tools are geared towards all levels of workers in my company - from basic AP employees to upper-level accountants. The tools are clearly labeled and categorized. When SageIntacct developes a new tool, I am notified and taught how to implement it to save me time. Intacct is easy to get used to using, I think everyone should integrate it into their company! Every morning when I login to Intacct for the day (I use the software all day), I am confident that I will be happy with the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like getting logged out, however, I do understand that this feature is there for our security, so thank you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct allows for us to track all AP in a basic way for AP employees to understand what they are doing, while at the same time creating Journal entries on the back end for the accountants to work with to produce financial statements.

I love the fact that there are so many different options to customize Sage Intacct to your needs!
The interface is user friendly and easy to navigate. Intacct also links nicely to other software, allowing for an all inclusive experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I wouldn't have to click "Click here to download the file" every time I download a journal/general ledger/trial balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is my go to for all my accounting needs. It provides for an all inclusive accounting cycle experience!
New System
What do you like best about the product?
The integration and automation features that sage offers are fantastic, a big upgrade from our old system. User interface is clean and crisp, and the help features are great. Very intuitive and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was a bit rocky for us, just given that we have a more unique line of business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cash management and finding efficiency there is a huge benefit for us. The bank feeds are very helpful. Additionally, the ability to set up customized financial reporting is huge to ensure that the reports are consistent every time and that we are delivering a quality product to the client.
Excellent tool for accounting
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to run reports and click into the items and see what everything is. It is easy to use and has many features.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can only have one report for one entity at one time.
