Easy to Access due to Fully Cloud ERP. Supports almost all of the Integrations for vast variety of users or industry. Great variety of reports and Dashboard for Higher Managements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Operations. Sage Intacct could be great as Financial suite but it lacks multiple areas for Operation based companies or manufacturing companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now, most of business i have done for Sage Intacct is that Intacct solves their problem of reporting. A lot of companies has to put in alot of work in creating reports or sorting in excel to get the particular amounts or balances to see. Sage Intacct vast varienty of reports or easily i can create new reports (customised) or you know, i can easily create a dashboard for the client. Done migration for the company which has 20 entities. literally business for 20 different locations and i could show them balances at once in Dashboard. Game Changer!!
The User Interface is great. Customer Service has been helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
- There is a lot of training needed to get use to the system
- Some of the scripts we was provided for the training were not smooth and we were unable to follow
- Lots of customization can lead to new users getting lost within the menus.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct provides alot of automation which we can utilize to free up time to focus on other tasks. In addition, some of our current processes can be completed alot quicker due to the fact of Intacct being a slicker system then Sage 50.

Sage Intaact
What do you like best about the product?
All the data is there and its a web based software vs our old software that server based.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not group projects by projects, so all data has to be searched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem that Sage Intacct has solved is that it has moved us from a server based software to a web based.
Returning customer
What do you like best about the product?
The dimension level accounting and inter-company capabilities. The dimension balances report is one of the best features of any accounting software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is not as user friendly as other software. The upgrade to the fixed assets module and not being able to have more than one asset class assigned to a GL is a big miss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company was using Business Central before Sage and it was awful. Sage Intacct has automated a lot of our processes and given a lot more transparency into my team.
I advocated to switch fro quickbooks to sage because of its features and optimization
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has been super helpful for managing finances at work. It makes tracking deposits, reconciling bank accounts, and keeping everything organized way easier. The cloud-based setup is great since I can access what I need from anywhere. It took some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it saves a ton of time compared to manual processes. Definitely a solid tool for accounting and financial reporting!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could copy and paste from excel, that way i could more quickly add data to my entires when making them. I understand that uploads are a thing and I could make the entry outside of sage and them upload, but I would prefer making my entires in sage where my gl accounts and job specific functions/dimensions would populate as I am creating them. This just ensure's less errors on my part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has been a great upgrade for handling more complex accounting needs. When I worked at Exploding Kittens, we outgrew QuickBooks because it just couldn’t keep up with our financial operations. We needed better multi-entity management, automation, and reporting tools—and that’s where Sage Intacct delivered. It made bank reconciliations, revenue tracking, and reporting much smoother while cutting down on manual work. The built-in audit trails and approval workflows also helped improve accuracy and compliance. For any company scaling up, Sage Intacct is a solid choice!
Not as user friendly as Netsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Customizable Dashboard and Lists. Modules are easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search is complicating to understand and navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to track Fixed Assets.
Cumbersome processes
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of options for processes; good for large businesses with lots of locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many options for processes; can take too many steps for small businesses.
I'm glad you are delaying, hopefully reversing, the decision to do away with the "receive a payment" option in AR. This is the one place where I can easily see everything open on an account, so even though it can unreasonably refuse to accept an entry (after correcting) or not always show all invoices, I use it almost exclusively to enter customer payments and look up what's outstanding.
Trying to enter a customer refund is cumbersome. That or I haven't been able to find a straightforward way to do this. Currently, I enter a debit adjustment to reverse the credit memo, then apply it. Then go to Cash Management/Manual Payment and enter the refund amount - as cash for tracking- only so it doesn't issue a check or CC entry. This often requires setup of a customer as an AP vendor, making the vendor list a jumble of AP vendors and customers.
Recently you changed the reference on overpayments/payments to customer accounts, to a random sequenced C number on the AR Aging Report. Why? I used to be able to easily figure out exactly what (check #) the credit resulted from because it labelled the credit as such. Now I have to go into another screen - yet another step.
Just some thoughts from an amateur.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floral Computer System/Smart System POS system doesn't include an accounting function. Sage was one of two options to solve this issue.
