What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of creating and generating reports from intacct into Excel or any other product. Also, I love how automated the processes are that have help expedite our month end close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how employee users can not print invoices out of Order Entry with detail. It seen odd to me that they have the ability to print out of AR but not OE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for the delay in closing the monthly financials. We have realized faster closes with more automated processes.

System is relatively easy to use and works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more video examples/trainings for certain areas.

We really like the AP module.

Flexible, user friendly, integrated reporting, dimensions and analysis

The inventory module could use some enhancements. Security around reporting is not the most intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
I have consistently voiced that Intacct has made our company run more efficiently in just about every Finance department task. There are so many ways to customize the data and reports that you are viewing that it is the best platform for an organization of any scope or size.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report writer has been a bit tedious up to this point but we are extremely excited about the new report writer and the analytical tools that are soon to come!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving redundancies and inefficiencies all over the company. We have now become the data professionals for every department because of the abilities that Intacct has offered us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The fact that every quarter there are new features speaks for itself. I don't know any other accounting software company that has put so much time and effort into individualizing the features for each company to make sure everyone is getting the most out of the software from the most basic of users to the most complex of needs. I can assure you that you get what you pay for with this software and it is worth the time of learning how to customize it to your needs.
So many possibilities to help make our business more efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
How easily Intacct is to follow, the dashboards, the simple integration, the new features released every quarter, and I'm so excited for the new custom report writer!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having a difficult time understanding budgets - wish it was a little more simple. Also wish we could integrate with Ascentis and Wells Fargo (for a cheaper price).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency! Having Intacct has allowed us to see our business/financials/goals so much more clearly. The output is helpful so that we can make better decisions based off data, rather than just ideas.

Like the theme of this year's Advantage, there are so many possibilities to help our company financially as well as their vision.

Easy Financial Reporting with Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
The financial reporting capabilities are much more sophisticated than other general ledger softwares I have used in the past. The column building feature is user friendly and allows for quick creation of custom reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the way errors with imports are emailed out - it's sometimes challenging to figure out what the error is

Come to the conference for training
Intacct has been very useful in drilling down into detail.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drill down capabilities best. It is nice to have a summary report, but then be able to drill down into detail revenue and expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The menus are a bit complex making it difficult to know where to go for what you are looking for.

We are solving reporting level hierarchies through Intacct's dimensions.

Fully vet out all reporting options during implementation.

At the conversion, we were not told many things we are finding out about today, and can't go back & change it.

We were taking weeks to close. Today, we can close in matters of days, with rev rec being up to date daily, it's easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get names/emails of companies that implemented Intacct & talk to them.
Intacct could also give out names of their customers that agree to share their experience. That would be very helpful to new users or potential customers.
