Best accounting system a money can buy
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize application to your needs, dashboards, power of cloud computing, role based security. Customer support is also very good. Product improvement every quarter is also very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I do like everything in Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved almost every application to Sage Intacct platform (HRIS, Student Recruitment, Performance Evaluations, etc).

Best decision I ever made is picking Intacct

What do you like best about the product?
The hands on sessions are great. Also great to hear about the way technology is going to/is playing a role in the software and what it could mean for our roles/industry (Using AI to create “smart” software!).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to book a room at the same hotel as the conference. Shuttle service was not on a schedule so wait time was anywhere b/n 5-30 minutes)
Also some of the general sessions were ok for first timers but too broad for anyone that’s been using the system for more than a few months. Not much gained from attending some of these.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting. Dashboards are great and a massive improvement on the excel files we used to use to create financial packages.

Use the training videos and make use of online community to troubleshoot.

Ease of use. More open architecture than previous system.

Purchase Order module has some limitations

Getting reports to managers in a form they can easily understand. Integrating two entities without having to go outside of accounting program

Make sure you are clear on what you want. We thought we were and yet we caught our implementation company off guard with some of the items we had stated we wanted.

Intacct trys to accommodate all of your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use items so there are limiting reports builds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
revenue recognition. we realize based on your entries the sub ledger may not match the gl.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure the person understands how you use Quickbooks to make sure the conversion is smooth. They need to be able to speak QuickBooks to avoid any errors.
Sage Intacct Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
The Sage Intacct partnership is top notch innovation. I am so excited about our implementation and really looking forward to our go live of 1.1.2019.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many 3rd party vendors are involved for automation and working with them remotely presents challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboards provide information tobbudget managers and executives as soon as they log into the system. This eliminates a whole lot of questions and requests for information.
Best Mid-Market ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Companies which are mid and small in size and want to upgrade from QB, Sage Intacct is the way to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
They claim they have inventory module but it doesn't meet all the requirement and fails 80% for my clients. Some of the modules and their pricing structure are too complex, they need to work on making pricing less complex

The Product is not matured for Inventory and NFP's else it works great
