Organ Procurement Agency uses Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the dimensions allow me to capture more data and have more robust and useful reports. The ease of use in approving accounts payable when you are out of the office has improved our processes and sped up our payment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the employee expense reimbursement process was more mobile. The attachments application should be improved to allow to see attachments without so many clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to capture our costs better. We are now able to track costs down to any dimension level we choose. We are able to prepare our CMS cost report in record time and bettere allocate the cost to the proper CMS cost centers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you understand dimensions.

Very good customer experience, strong process automation, and happy accounting team
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom report writer is outdated. However this will be fixed during next release.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct's ability to report off of dimensions and their API capabilities are top notch and key reasons why we utilize Sage Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Sage Intacct integrate Fixed Assets with the rest of their system. The FA system could use a refresh on ease of use to prevent common and repeatable mistakes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to provide our clients with insight into their performance by merging different financial systems together. To date, they've been able to achieve their main goals.

A lot of functions and pretty easy to use

Glitches and you have to purchase a lot of the modules

What do you like best about the product?
The main reason we switched to Intacct from quick books was for the reports. Besides reports, the Simplicity and functionality of all products have been amazing. From Accounts payable to fixed assets, this software has been great for the accounting department to all other departments in our company..
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the aspects that I dislike is Converting PO's one by one, which is very time consuming. There is a solution for this, but it wouldn't work the way I think would benefit our company or reconciliations. We also had to create a rule for Credit Card transactions, because our company purchases most of our supplies and equipment with an Amex,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A few business problems we are solving with Sage intacct, is the Approval process. We can now have managers own their teams expenses and review what is being purchased. Our leadership team also has the access to review and manage their budgets by using the reports we have created specific to each department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product is great for Accounting, but is also beneficial for all other departments.

Wish bills were able to be reclassed or reallocated when paid by a credit card.

Tracking profitability across individual locations & modalities.
Great functionality and user interface for all users
What do you like best about the product?
With Sage Intacct's latest updates, the user interface is very easy to use while still providing powerful functionality and insights for business users. You don't have to have a strong technical background to understand and navigate around the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one area we have experienced some trouble involves communications with 3rd party market partners. Although not entirely Sage Intacct's fault, integrating with certain application partners has been more cumbersome and complex than initially let on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has definitely provided great automation and efficiencies to eliminate many manual processes and tedious data entry found in other systems. Additionally, the reporting and dashboard features are easy to understand and provide greater visibility into problem areas of the business.
