Efficient time entry, slightly overloaded with Fields
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is easy to use and intuitive, especially for time entry. Our team appreciates how straightforward it is to log hours and track them by project and role. The clean interface and logical flow make it simple for everyone to stay on top of their entries without needing much training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many fields available when entering time or project data, which can feel overwhelming. While flexibility is great, it would be helpful if the system allowed for customization to reduce the number of required or visible fields based on role or use case. Streamlining this could improve efficiency and reduce user error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps solve a key operational challenge for our team: tracking time accurately across multiple projects and roles. By streamlining time entry, it ensures that hours are logged consistently, which supports better project budgeting, resource planning, and reporting. Its intuitive interface makes it easy for team members to use with minimal training, reducing administrative overhead. This has led to more reliable data and improved visibility into how engineering hours are allocated—ultimately helping us make more informed decisions and stay on top of project performance.

The user interface can feel a bit outdated, and initial setup or configuration requires a learning curve or outside help.

Can’t do payroll in house, 1099 reporting would be nice to have. Too many outside partners to do what sage should do.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes entering data and checking numbers easier. The system keeps records tidy, and I can pull up reports quickly without digging through files. It helps me finish daily tasks faster and with fewer errors.

Some features feel a bit tricky at first, and I wish the screens were more simple for new users.

It reduces the time I spend on manual work and makes sure numbers match up. I can catch mistakes early, work more smoothly, and support my team with accurate information.
Powerful financial managment capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to handle multiple entities for consolidation but allowing for individual reporting at the same time in different formats for both. The integration with out Field Service Software is seamless and allows for real time results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have multiple windows open to view transactions from different modules.

The intergration is key for us. It allows for our Field Service Management software to export so that we have real time results to help with decision making.
Sage Intacct: A Great And Powerful Accounting Solution.
What do you like best about the product?
For the past 2 years I have been using Sage Intacct and my overall experience with it has been positive.
I've really enjoyed using it and would highly recommend it to any mid-size business.
It's a great accounting software that is highly customizable and i like that you can easily create recurring transactions such as journal entries, bills and invoices for automation.

The custom report builder has a bit of a learning curve and could be more intuitive for non-technical users.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct feels like a light program compared to the bloat of Quickbooks. It's so great being able to simply open browser tabs to access. So speedy and efficient. Real-time dashboards. Implementation is amazing, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage costs way too much. The price point for a small business is not very competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is automating AP so I don't waste so much time on it anymore.
