Intacct: An Amazing Accounting Application
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and the responsiveness of the customer support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't been able to use Intacct for PO matching due.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large volume of AP invoices that come in daily. Intacct has helped us become more efficient with posting those invoices.

Easy to use accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
It's looks professional and is user friendly

Setting up reports and downloading data from ledgers

Entering invoices and payments is much better than with previous software

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has lots of benefits, but I will call "ease of use" its strongest benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our renewal process goes through a 3rd party and I prefer to deal directly with my vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides reliable and straight-forward revenue recognition and contract management functionality.
Sage Intacct is easy to use, user friendly qualtiy Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct takes the complication out of correcting mistakes. My favorite part is the ability to reclassify invoices and bills without having to post a series of correcting debits or credits and rebills when you just need to change a GL. I also love that you can edit a Journal entry after it is posted--Even if you have made a mistake at any point, error on the memo, transposed the amount, wrong GL or even posted the Debit & credit wrong. All you have to do is edit it, not make a mess of the GL by trying to correct it! I also love that almost everything is linked so you can get to the next step by just clicking. It's the best Accounting software or Sage product I've used yet!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a fan of the new payments screen. It's just overcomplicated. It seems like they just release updates and they do'nt always make sense. Some of them take away the ease. I also wish there was a way to duplicate invoices or bills from the mail screen without viewing them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage lets us see our overall profit and loss at the literal click of a button. It helps us manage out books with ease.
Excellent search functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Whether it's a fiscal year or calendar year entity no longer matters when it comes time to provide the auditors their required reports! Now, I can customize those reports in advance and assign outside entities to their proper places. Coming from a legacy accounting software product, I've been very impressed with the search functionality of Sage Intaact's software! I'm used to being forced to know precisely where to look for the answers I'm seeking, but even the best accountants aren't software code mindreaders. Being able to enter brief search criteria and use the "%" function to get a slew of results has been a HUGE time saver for both myself and my team, who no longer need to explain to the accountant who is new to non-profit accounting where to look for the appropriate backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've loved everything about it so far, especially the intuitive web-based interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer need a master class in a specific piece of accouting software. I simply apply prior knowledge of the concept, and the intuitive software does the rest for me.
Sage - Customizable But Very DIY
What do you like best about the product?
Sage has many ways to customize your data, from transaction types, general ledger entry categories, inventory details, and more. The indivdiual modules are fairly easy to learn and equip for all levels of entry detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
While being able to create and manipulate Sage fields in the different modules is helpful, report design is a voyage of self-discovery and individual effort. Sage does not have a data dictionary, so selecting fields for obtaining data is trial and error, and many duplicates of the same field names are difficult to distinguish when designing reports. Security is also challenging, as the subscription method is not always clear by individual or role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We upload inventory activity from an older ERP system because we are able to create transactions and customizable fields in Sage that can sync up with the data. We also benefit from reducing extrenal paperwork with 100% electronic processes.
My point of view on Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Helps in daily Cash Application, helps in invoice processing, helps to sync with other accounting softwares, helps to extract reports as per our requirement, easy in passing journal entries, customer service is good, ease implimentation of ideas, easy templates for sending collection emails, regular usage of aging report made it easy to find paid and posted invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing as such i desliked in Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to sync with other accounting softwares, sending multiple invoices in single shot, book closure made easy, ease of multi currency transactions, sending multiple collection emails in single shot, easy calculation of taxes.
My Knowledge with respect to Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct helps us to access to multiple clients and exceptional customer support, Customized reports for specific business needs and it also helps us to integrate with other ERP's and also helps us to enhance various financial management process. It helps us to close books of accounts every month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time consuming and User Interface can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to sync with other softwares like bill.com, Avalara etc. we can implement any changes according to client requirements and also additional features can be added as per our and it also ensures a smooth workflow. and we can manage multiple clients with their desired report.
