What do you like best about the product?
i use the ap module , general ledger and journal entry screen . I like the duplicate and memorize features.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish when imports failed it was very specific on what needed to be corrected on the csv
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we currently cant sync bill spend and expense to sage only because on sages side the transaction lines are hitting the AP Ledger but the payment is not .

Efficient Prepayments, but Error Correction Needs Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
The prepayments process is brilliant. With a large number of monthly transactions the system simplifies everything and makes preparing and posting everything simple.
When implementing the software Joel and the team were great. They gave us in depth training and support throughout the move to Intacct. Toby has also been really helpful resolving any issues we have found.
What do you dislike about the product?
Correcting errors can be difficult and at times can seem unnecessarily complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Payment runs have been streamlined. This is saving us as a team a lot of time whilst not losing any accuracy.

Efficient Intercompany Posting, but Reports Need Smarter Balancing Checks

What do you like best about the product?
The efficiency of posting entries between related companies
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports aren't smart enough to know if they balance or not. We had missing accounts so they didn't balance and almost didn't catch that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing reporting for our 23 entities in Quickbooks was a terrible experience. Now, switching between entities, handling intercompany transactions, and running searches has become much simpler and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The reports can be easily downloaded into Excel. Customizing the results is quite straightforward, and the reports consistently provide reliable data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the menus is difficult, and I often find them confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct has proven to be a highly reliable source for our financial data. In my position, I am tasked with creating reports and distributing data, and Intacct makes these responsibilities straightforward and efficient.

Practical Experience with Sage Intacct

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Sage Intacct simplifies financial management and reporting. The dashboards and automation features save a lot of manual effort, especially for recurring tasks like invoicing and reconciliations. It’s also very flexible — you can customize reports easily, and the integration with other systems like Salesforce or Excel makes it smooth to manage end-to-end accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface feels a bit dated and not very intuitive for new users. Simple things like finding specific reports or setting up dimensions can take extra steps. Also, the system can be slow when handling large data volumes, and a few functions still require manual work that could be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps streamline our entire financial process — from invoicing and payment tracking to reporting and reconciliations. Before, a lot of these tasks were manual and time-consuming, but now most of them are automated and much more accurate. It also gives real-time visibility into our financial data, so we can make quicker and better decisions. Overall, it’s reduced errors, saved time, and improved how efficiently our team manages accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to do things, subcontracts, invoices, payments, retainages.
What do you dislike about the product?
No good reports. There is not a good an easy platform to create or having good reports.

Handling subcontracts and paying invoices and getting retainage accumulated.

What do you like best about the product?
This is among the most user-friendly ERPs I have ever used. Integration and implementation were both very straightforward, thanks to my customer representative and the helpful guides available on Intacct's support pages. Our daily users encounter very few problems. The system includes all the modules and reports our company needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, we encounter errors in a report that we run every day. Even though nothing is altered in the report itself, the output sometimes ends up incomplete. While customer support is excellent, it can occasionally take as long as a week to resolve problems unless you specifically indicate that the issue is 'critical to business function.'
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The bank feed interconnectivity makes it easy to create quick and accurate journal entries. Managing fixed assets and allocating prepaid expenses has also become much more efficient, saving us a significant amount of time on these parts of our business.

What do you like best about the product?
SAGE is incredibly adaptable, evolving with your business as it grows. It enables increased efficiency by automating routine tasks, allowing you to focus on what really matters. What’s more, SAGE integrates seamlessly with other programs, especially those that assist with accounting, streamlining processes and ensuring everything works together smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to get morThe current process of updating job information in the system, once imported, is done individually, which takes a considerable amount of time. This significantly slows down the workflow. It would be ideal to implement a solution that allows for faster and more efficient updates, either through batch processing or automation, to improve the overall system performance and save time on repetitive tasks.

Sage 50’s basic elements and usefull factors

What do you like best about the product?
This is excellent software for handling payroll, tracking income, managing invoicing, and keeping monthly records organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sage Intacct is a powerful accounting system overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The user interface feels a bit outdated and not as intuitive as some modern cloud platforms, so it can take new users some time to get comfortable. Reporting is flexible, but building or customizing reports can be tricky without some technical knowledge. I’ve also noticed that performance sometimes slows down when working with large data sets or complex dimensions. Lastly, their customer support can be hit or miss — response times vary depending on the issue.
Overall, it’s a solid system once you get used to it, but there’s definitely room for improvement in usability and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has made our accounting and financial processes much more efficient by automating tasks such as billing, reporting, and consolidations. This automation not only saves us significant time but also minimizes manual errors. Additionally, having real-time access to financial data greatly supports us in making quicker and more informed business decisions.
