What do you like best about the product?
What I like is how customizable the system is, which makes it easy to start and implement. The dashboard is clean and gives you a great snapshot of financials . I especially like how you can tailor it to show exactly what matters to your role or department.

The automation features are also a huge win. Routine tasks like billing, and journal entries are streamlined, which saves us hours every week. The multi-entity and multi-currency capabilities are another game-changer as it makes managing multiple companies under one system so much easier and far less error-prone than with other platforms I've used.

One more plus is the real-time reporting. You don’t have to wait for end-of-month to get visibility into performance. Being able to generate custom reports with just a few clicks is incredibly helpful, especially for quick decision-making. The application can be used 24/7 whenever we need it, any time is perfect.

The integration with other systems is smooth, and their support team has always been responsive whenever we’ve needed help.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Sage Intacct is that the user interface can feel a bit outdated and unintuitive, especially for new users. Some of the navigation isn’t very streamlined, and it can take extra time to find what you need or complete tasks that should be simple. Also, certain customizations and reporting features, while powerful, often require advanced knowledge or support to use effectively. It’s a solid system overall, but definitely has a learning curve and could benefit from a more modern, user-friendly design.
I would love if some short tutorials were available and the Search Function could use a boost, The search feature gets the job done—if you know exactly what you're looking for. But if you’re even slightly off, it acts like the record doesn’t exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For one, it centralizes all of our financial data, so instead of juggling spreadsheets or disconnected systems, we have a single source of truth for accounting, reporting. This has drastically improved accuracy and reduced manual errors.

The automation of recurring tasks—like journal entries, invoicing, and revenue recognition—has saved us a ton of time and freed up our team to focus on more strategic work instead of repetitive admin tasks.

One of the biggest benefits is also the real-time reporting and dashboards.

Awful implementation, solid product

What do you like best about the product?
The customization and workflows are powerful but if not set up correctly, can cripple you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation company they set us up with was awful. They fell apart after a few months working on our instance. We had to switch and it has been better but we are still cleaning up the mess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating more accounting tasks and getting rid of paper.

Quality Accounting System

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows easy invoice preparation that integrates into Financial Statements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is such a large integrated complex product, at times there is multiple little places that need to be filled in or clicked to give access to what you need to do. It takes a while to figure these out. We keep separate instructions for these to provide ease for future use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like its robust platform that allows for preparation of bills, payments, revenue recognition, cash reconciliation, and financial preparation all rolled into one platform.

Great Accounting Software

What do you like best about the product?
Our company has found the reporting in Sage Intacct to be far superior to any previous software we have used. Being able to create custom reports that are auto-generated and emailed to our team has saved us countless hours of running reports manually. Overall, Sage Intacct has streamlined several of our processes and saved us a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a knock on Sage Intacct specifically, but there is a learning curve when implementing new software. We used the training videos extensively which helped our team, and we refer back to them often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have numerous reports that need to be ran weekly and sent to several different departments. Sage Intacct has allowed us to reduce the time it takes to generate and distribute reports. We have also seen time savings with bank reconciliations. Having bank feeds

What do you like best about the product?
Using Intacct as a global nonprofit operating in 32 countries with 26 currencies is a joy.

We are able to close the month within 15 business days of the following month with rolling forecasts throughout the life of our grants.

The purchasing module has simplified operating in a totally remote environment.

It is easy for our non-financial users to understand where they stand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs, but it's well worth the investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-Currency simplified
Multi-country easy of use
Easier annual audit as all the documents and approvals are located within Intact and we simply give the auditors access.
Quick monthly closes
Quick annual close as we do monthly and quarterly closes

What do you like best about the product?
Sage is very beneficial and the use is quite easy to understand and learn. I use sage everyday for all my inquiries. Theres alot of options and features within the software for any business to use and meet their needs. Its pretty easy to use and understand.

Certain features arent for a full scale business, but still quite useful

What do you like best about the product?
Lately, I have been very impressed with the support that has been provided. Our CSM Joseph Eyre has been incredibly helpful in answering our queries along with the technical team and it has helped us use the software to the best of its ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were minor technical and UI issues that we faced initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage reporting has been especially helpful to us in producing management accounts and project-based reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct automates core accounting processes and provides real-time financial insights. Its dashboards and reports make it easy to track performance and manage multiple entities efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Sage Intacct can be a bit complex to set up initially, and certain advanced features take time to learn. Also, customization options can be limited without additional support or training

New Release

What do you like best about the product?
I like the new release of being able to identify a "Refund" within the system not sure that I have access or permission from my company to use it. But I love the idea of new release.
I like the feature "Enchanced List"
What do you dislike about the product?
With the New Release, I no longer have access to use the "Enhanced List " on "Posted Payments"; this made searching for a payment so much easier, especially when looking for a check # specifically, there was no more back and forth to see the information just had to select my client, then select the split screen to be able to see everything that I needed and now I don't have that opinion? WHY IS THAT??
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offering different options for features that were tried and apparently were noted as good features. Not sure that I have a total understanding of what they do b/c I'm not sure that I have full access to the system to make that assessment.
