Sage Intacct for Powerful Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a super powerful accounting software that you can do almost anything with, they have lots of add on applications and software that allows you to complete the most complicated of tasks. I learn new tricks and short cuts every day, and Sage is constantly adding new and helpful features
What do you dislike about the product?
Very specific, but I'd like to be able to do more operations in reporting variables. Right now I can only do 1 at a time so if I want to add 2 separate calculations (say add 2 variables and then multiply by 100), I would have to create 2 different variables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's integration with other softwares really adds the value to save me a lot of time with my accounting work.
Ease of transacting business with one source of truth
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many API options available to connect with our other systems that we use for payroll, operational field work, and data analytics! It is designed to be administered by accountants, for accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the guiderails in place make it not as customizable as other marketplace options for ERPs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having real-time data for our teams to access on a more frequent basis has allowed us to make better decisions on the fly! We have also been able to shorten our close time window by over 3 days compared to our legacy ERP system.

The reporting is my favorite part of Sage Intacct
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the AP side of sage intacct but it is getting better with AI innovation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is solving reporting accurate information and it give accurate information to auditors and banks
My experience has been very positive.

We have recently implemented Bank feeds to make the bank rec faster!
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating in so many different places in order to make 1 single change. It's easy to miss all the places that the change needs to be made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating rules to do automatic JEs for bank rec
Customization is great!

Sage university and ability to tailor to our company needs.

A lot of options and setup is time consuming but easy to miss an important field.

Excle interphase, partners and integrations and growth.

Least helpful thing about Sage Intacct is the built in transactional accounting.

The control aspects are the best part of Sage

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and fairly intuitive, has a lot of options for a lot of different types of organizations. My favorite part is the dimensions and being able to construct reports in many different ways in order to meet data demands from various funding sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to get help to simple questions you are kind of on your own. Although I think the AI tools will help with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI and it will assist in making less manual data entry and free up time for other tasks.
Review of Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is easy to use and we like that it is cloud based
What do you dislike about the product?
We are somewhat new to Sage but the one thing is that there can only be one approver of AP bills
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to access it anywhere. Prior to Sage, we were on a hard server and could not work from home. Sage has allowed us to do this.
