Great organization for out team!
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out the most about Monday Work Management is its visual simplicity combined with customization for our team's needs. The platform is incredibly user-friendly — even team members who aren’t particularly tech-savvy can navigate boards, update tasks, and collaborate in real time with minimal training.
One of the best features is how flexible and modular everything is. You can build workflows tailored exactly to your team's needs. We use Monday.com for the coordination of over 25 annual events that we produce. Being able to review past years' events and tasks in just a few clicks is super helpful.
The automation tools are also a huge time-saver for our team. With just a few clicks, we can automate repetitive tasks like status updates, notifications, or due date reminders.
I also really appreciate the transparency it brings to teamwork. Everyone knows what’s going on, who's responsible for what, and where things stand. That clarity reduces a ton of back-and-forth and keeps projects moving.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main drawbacks is the learning curve for advanced features. While the interface is clean and easy to use for basic tasks, setting up more complex workflows, automations, or integrations can get confusing. Without proper training or documentation, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Another issue is pricing — it can get expensive quickly. Many of the useful features (like time tracking or advanced integrations) are only available on higher-tier plans, which may not be cost-effective for every organization.

We recently implemented Monday.com as a centralized platform for tournament promoters to apply for event dates. What we appreciate most is how it has allowed us to streamline our processes and significantly reduce paperwork. The transition from a manual, document-heavy system to an automated workflow has saved our staff considerable time and effort.
The platform’s customizable boards and automation features have been instrumental in simplifying our operations. Applications are now submitted, reviewed, and approved through a structured system, improving transparency and reducing the need for back-and-forth communication. Monday.com has also enabled us to track status updates in real time, which enhances overall efficiency and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

Workflow/Process Mgmt Made Easy!!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely LOVE the automations. I love that I can create an automation and with one click or one status change, a single or multiple actions will then take place. I get giddy when I'm creating a new board with new automations. It just makes me so happy watching the lines move, statuses change, updates get made - all automatically. This truly simplifies working a line (whether that is an order, an OOS item, a project, whatever) through its designed process. I love being able to tag team members and keep all our notes and updates in one location for all to see the status of that line at any given moment. I love having colored labels because, once that board's status become second nature to me, visually I know right off the bat what is going on with the line just based on the colors seen. It's all super user-friendly. I use it every day and couldn't function without it!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is not the ability to ignore weekends (or specific days of the week) when calculating deadlines or other due dates. I really wish that column headings had text wrap. It's frustrating having a slightly long header for a very small column, like a checkbox, and the column has to be much wider than is needed due to not having text wrap. I'd really love to have more group and status colors!!! (Or the ability to create our own colors.) We really must have the ability to write an automation based on a mirrored column. That right there is my biggest dislike currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software allows multiple people to "be in the know" without losing information due to too many eyeballs accessing the data. That helps us document all that happenings with any given line and collaborate together to work a line all the way through to completion.

What do you dislike about the product?
The text editor feels a bit limited (Markdown support would be nice), and task lists sometimes behave oddly. Small quirks, but nothing that gets in the way of our daily work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves project deadlines, task tracking & team coordination for us. Clear visibility keeps projects & people in sync.
Makes managing work much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a great place to collaborate in a marketing environment, with automations that run across different teams' boards. It's also a great way of quickly gauging just how much your team have on in any moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional glitches with notifications can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com allows us to manage complex projects in conjunction with spreadsheets, including complex website migration projects.
Excellent software that brings teams together
What do you like best about the product?
I like how we can track our workflows and simply build custom automations to notify people when actions are required. It allows us to stop building endless spreadsheets and instead have an easy one-stop shop for our tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little I dislike, but I think the notification centre could be formatted better. When I get a lot of notifications, some tend to get lost in the ether.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts an end to lost workflows. Instead of hunting through emails and messages to find the stage of a product we can see the status and get notified with ease. This means less slips through the cracks!
Monday is more versatile than JIRA for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create various views for project management, add in lots of context to work items because it supports various types of integrations. Lots of macro abilities to customize automations for our CSM team and engineers. Much better than working in JIRA. Also the Monday mansion is awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit clunky at times and sometimes things disappear as the automations can run so quick they disappear from your filtered view as you forgot to add the right field. Fairly easy to get used to or to make forms for so that end users dont need to run into that problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use, central place to check on my to dos. We take in tickets from support, csm, and customers in one place and distribute out to our team. Use it for scoping, tracking work and documenting feature releases.
Intuitive, Flexible, and Essential for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the flexibility and intuitiveness of Monday Work Management, which made transitioning from Microsoft and Google tools easier. The ability to use various templates significantly simplifies setup, and attaching different file types along with automated user setup and reminders makes task management simple. It efficiently helps track action items within notes, keeping us on track with project progress and identifying training gaps. Its ease of use has made our team comfortable, and the fact that we've continually renewed our subscription underscores its value.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product could benefit from a more intuitive interface beyond its current capabilities. As an institute of higher education, it would be helpful to have a branch or focus specifically tailored for academic needs rather than corporate ones. This way, the product could cater more effectively to faculty, staff, and students by providing project tools that align better with the education sector.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product keeps us on track by organizing action items, setting project reminders, and identifying training gaps, improving overall project management and efficiency.
Great place to see everything going on in one place!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can have our whole office connected in one place, but also have private or smaller groups in certain Boards. It's such a great way to ensure everyone has information they need to complete projects, and it's nice to be able to see status updates on those projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the doc section of Monday was structured a bit more like Google Docs or Microsoft Word. It seems a bit overcomplicated and we usually end up just linking our Google Docs to our Monday boards instead of using the Monday Doc system. Also wish it was easier to share Monday docs outside of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having boards with everything on them that are shared with the applicable people is really nice, as opposed to having multiple Google Docs that need to go around. It helps us keep everything organized. The view is great and we love the status bars.
