Great for organising multiple tasks in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I love that each task can be customised to include due dates, priorities, status etc and changed to suit the needs of each board. It also makes remote teamwork and communication easier, particularly when managing or overseeing the tasks of multiple employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday has a lot of useful features and is continually adding new ones in updates. Sometimes new updates are less user-friendly but they can sometimes be reverted in the settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run three local magazines and one challenge is task/time management - each month we are publishing aroung 140 individual articles, plus advertisements. Monday boards allow us to easily see and plan our progress for each article and advertisement. The colour-coordinated updates feature allows us to communicate with each other quickly and effectively, view each others work and collaborate on updates for each item.
It's just a platform. However, it's the best one.
What do you like best about the product?
My organisation is spread geographically, functionally and there is also a huge spread in terms of IT literacy. I can engage with clients and staff in a controlled manner and drive accountability as well as show our value as an outsource partner in ways we battled to do before.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't excel - if you come with that expectation you will be disappointed. But it is better than excel could ever be at the things it is meant to be used for. I wish that pivot table functionality were available for pro users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication; between teams and with clients.

UI is user-friendly, and the core is fast.

It will be complicated with a massive amount of boards.

Monday.com is helping a lot to have the business messaging all in one place and easy to pursue.

The user interface is simple. The website is responsive. It can do much more than what I first expected.

My early experience was the website is very responsive and fast. Somehow recently it find it a little bit slower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation. It makes it easy for me to send a series of emails to multiple users in my mailing list at once.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is so versatile to our needs. It is an effective project management tool that our business would not be able to operate without. I especially like the automations that are available to us to cut down on the time our team takes to do repetitive, small tasks. It also has some great intergations with other tools we use.

I can't comment much on what I don't like about Monday.com

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com allows us to easily track all clients projects from start to finish. The team can clearly see who is assigned to what tasks and progress of work. It allows me as a leader to log in and see at a glance where all our work is up to.
A great tool for managing projects and tasks
What do you like best about the product?
We used Monday to help manage project work. It allows you to prioritise tasks, set deadlines and add sub-tasks. We also used the associated form for other team members to add new tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, there are no downsides to using Monday.com - it suited what we needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us manage tasks, workflows and projects really easily and efficiently. It's also a great collaboration tool and helps create visibility over the status of projects and work in general.

inability to log in over intervals, users required to workaround by logging into mobile phone first before logging in on desktop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team manages multi-stakeholder, end-to-end ad delivery projects for clients, while our company product caters for the delivery needs, we needed a way to be able to track project milestones, and collaborate internally across timezones. monday.com provides the right tools that allows us to do this with many customizable fields on boards.
Customisation is everything

My team members can still be individuals and work at their own pace.

Can't use bullet points in the description field
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full transparency on what my team is working on and what tasks are still requiring attention. Making sure tasks are shared evenly amongst the team.
Bringing multiple offices together, one board at a time
What do you like best about the product?
It is so much easier to see what my 'next steps' are day-to-day and where there are exceptional circumstances coming up in our schedule. Other platforms do not make it possible to integrate as many tools in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there are any down sides to Monday.com! We are growing as an organisation and our practice with Monday is growing with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com allows everyone on a team to see what stage of planning and delivery programs are at, no matter where they are working from (we are spread around Australia, including several different timezones - so our colleagues are not always online when we have questions). It allows us to see at a glance where we can pick up from after our 'off' days for those of us job-sharing or working part-time.
Monday is a useful thing

It keeps my tasks organised and allows my colleagues to see my progress.

I wish there was a way to have sub-sub tasks and to be able to search all of Monday than just one board at a time.
