Effectiveness & Efficiency of monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation feature as well as the notification settings. There are many options, from lists to dates to text and color codings, so it makes it more accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since there are a lot of features, sometimes, it is a bit challenging to figure out which one works best for specific tasks and it takes due diligence in order to maximize those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bulk data, I believe monday.com can handle different data and has a real-time update or progress, making the collaboration part more accessible and more convenient especially working remotely
Efficient project management - Makes life easier!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about it is its flexibility. The software is highly customizable, allowing our teams to create custom workflows and boards tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, its intuitive design makes it easy for them to manage their projects efficiently and make informed decisions based on real-time data. We also love automations!
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure of the software is slightly expensive, especially for smaller teams. Some teams might require more advanced features that are not available in the software's basic plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined project management. Monday helps our teams keep track of all their ongoing projects and tasks in one place, which can help avoid confusion and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
A user-friendly tool with up-and-coming CRM capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is best-in-class for project & task management. For the new CRM add-on, you can't beat the price compared with other tools like Salesforce or Hubspot. As a small scrappy sales/marketing team, at $8 / seat, it's definitely doing the job for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any developing tool the newer features are gonna be buggy.The Monday CRM workspace is relatively new, so there's not a *ton* of customization you can do with the workflow or the dashboarding, and sometimes the automations are a bit janky under the hood. For lead routing, we still had to do quite a bit of cobbling together via Zapier to create a single source of truth our other email marketing and sales outbound solutions like Mailchimp and Outreach
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed basic visibility into our marketing lead routing, sales pipeline opportunities, deal stages, and sales activities, plus a centralized place for reps to grab approved assets and hand-off clients to post-sales teams.
Rural Non-profit Experience with Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
I like that nonprofit organizations with both in-house staff and remote workers can come together on join programs and projects within this system to better work through task lists and long term goals. We also use the guest option for Board of Director members who lead fundraising, grant writing and business membership teams. We are a small staff with the work of a much larger staff. Monday.com can be used to eliveate a little of the organizational/efficieny pressure we face each day. As the Executive Director it has helped me get a better sense of where everyone is with their workloads and shows easy ways that we can assist one another. I like the ability staff has to make unnlimited columns based on our specific needs and how we interact with community members. Customizations are key for arts organizations with many moving parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my staff feels it take to long to input something into Monday.com and they would rather just do the task and not have to take the time to add it the check it off in a way. There is not enough options for board templates specifically designed for nonprofits. Grants/Fundraising/Volunteer Management/Classes/Gallery/Teaching Artist Management etc. There is also no nonprofit pay rate. This program is entirely too expensive for us but we try and make it work because it does help with communications with both a remote and in-house team. Nonprofits with small budgets like our could use a less expensive or free rate like Canva does. Nonprofits are already taking over what State and National programs are not doing, often overworked, underpaid, underfunded, understaffed. A free system like monday.com for 10 members plus guests would be a game changer for most! Some of the changes happen too fast for staff to learn in addition to their jobs. I think there is so much more we could use monday.com for in a more efficient way but staff does not have the capacity or time to sit down and watch tutorials. I think this makes it so we aren't utilizing the program like we could. I would like easy transfer of boards created by other members once those members leave so no data is lost. It would also be great if there were move batch options within each board when editing/creating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication issues have decreased, there are still too many emails going around as some people find the comments/chats clunky at the moment. Long term goals like business membership /sponsorship/donor solicitation is helpful. Marketing schdules have imporved. Grant funder timelines have improved our overall grant team efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use Monday is. It's completely foolproof and so intuitive. I enjoy using it and couldn't do my job without it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have tried to use the templates before now for event projects and I think they need some improvement, potentially offering more customisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping on top of big projects and tasks and also allowing the wider team visibility over the project and any blockers.

Monday.com as CRM for MarkNet Alliance
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that I can assign members to a project with reminders and follow up using the chat function within the group. I also enjoy that I can prioritize projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com does not always send reminders to my work email. I also wish that I would get reminders to follow up with projects that have passed their due date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us streamline our workflow and assign tasks effectively. It also allows us to collaborate by uploading files and giving status updates to other project members.
The best collaboration tool out there!
What do you like best about the product?
This platform has been created to work great with colleagues. Project Management at its best with easy to use automations and boards.

The automation library is a bit limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is solving our task list for the team. We now have a clean process where errors are minimized to almost 0%.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is very user-friendly. The functionality is great and helps our team plan and track projects in a seamless way. The automation and available integrations are an integral part of why we love Monday.com.

I don't dislike anything about Monday.com.

Our team is able to easily identify where we are at with client projects and what still needs to be accomplished. We never miss a deadline and also have it integrated with our other tools which makes project management seamless for our team.
Versatile Project Management System
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of integrations and can cover a wide array of needs for my team. Automations are great and save time. There's lots of features to do most of what you could possibly want to see in a system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project management is tough to balance too little or too much information. Not enough and too many notifications. Without routine reminders, it can be a lot for boards, and tasks to get lost in the shuffle with so many different projects happening at once.
Gaant chart and dependencies are good, but one simple change can have cascading effects that take a long time to fix for the whole project or campaign.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to keep track of the marketing team's tasks. From social posting, campaign planning, marketing tickets, hiring applicants and stand-alone projects. It helps us communicate as a team.
Highly recommend Monday.com!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how functional and user-friendly Monday boards have been for our organization. The dashboards are super helpful and the ability to communicate amongst different boards is great for multi-team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many dislikes from Monday.com to be honest. If anything I get irritated that various app integrations with helpful tools are paid vs. being inclusive in single plan within Monday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is helping to streamline our various documents, sheets, and workflows into a single source of truth for the company. We can readily reference external documents but also efficiently manage projects in the same place with internal comms on Monday.com for project updates.
