Monday is like excel on crack
What do you like best about the product?
I love this tool so much. If you like organization, color coding, and unlimited customization this is the tool for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing bad to say about this tool except that I'm mad I didn't find it sooner!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday to keep event info organized, plan our social media calendar and manage tasks
I am obsessed with this platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I love almost everything about this platform. It always me to keep track of all of my work tasks and have everything I need all in one place. This is truly a unique and amazing tool for all people in business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I dislike about Monday would sometimes be it signs me out of my account, and I have to log back in. That has only happened twice though, so it isn't a real issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to store all of my files, links, notes, and emails in one location; I no longer have to go into all of my files separately and search for email addresses.
Excellent PM tool when used correctly and consistently
What do you like best about the product?
To get you started off right, it offers a lot of great templates for just about everything. Everything is very customizable to suit your needs. For a team whose files were scattered across too many different platforms (google drive, onedrive, network drives, dropbox...), Monday is a great solution as our "central hub". Our utilization isn't 100% there yet, but we're getting there.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I have found very limiting and frustrating is the inability to create "subitems of subitems". So while there is a lot of flexibility with how you can set up boards...it's still not flexible enough for our use cases. For example, we have a board that tracks Marketing Campaigns as "Items". And each touchpoint we have planned for the duration of the campaign is listed below as a "subitem". Ideally, we would then list the tasks needed to complete these touchpoints (what we call "features") and assign users with due dates, etc.
We have a workaround using 2 boards instead of 1 (using a mirror column to reference the campaign). But our staff isn't quite happy with the set-up and still request we try to find a way to use a single board. Just one more level of subitems would be perfect.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com acts as our central hub for our marketing campaigns, tasks, and projects. When we need information, we should be able to find it on our Monday board, rather than hunting through different drives or email conversations.
Best PM Product
What do you like best about the product?
I've used many other PM products with teams and tasks often get lost or aren't seen by other team memebers. Due dates are more clear, tasks are organized and easy to move between team members with Monday
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any qualms about Monday except the number of emails I get but that's all part of the process so not a gripe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of project management for remote and hybrid work. Even if we were in and when we were in office full time we weren't as efficient and effective before Monday
Monday is an organizational godsend
What do you like best about the product?
Monday allows my team to connect effectively and move projects forward despite being remote. Not only that, but we can track our successes and areas for improvement easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides to Monday that I can think of. Sometimes we run into some integration issues but they are typically very easily resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday solved our problems with having several remote employees in different time zones needing to communicate in an effective way with documentation to look back on.
Easy to use and organize for team communication
What do you like best about the product?
Coherent template and easy access, I like how they provide many notifications so I never have the fear of missing out on work updates. The app also gives me the ability to communicate clearly and stay on top about my tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are multiple projects, the organization for tasks specified for certain people can get lost really easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team communication when some of us work in office vs those who take multiple business trips.
I take Monday with me from job to job.
What do you like best about the product?
There seems to be no end to the options of what you can do for project management and organization in Monday.com. I've taken it with me to my last three jobs!
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications in Monday can get messy if you're an admin and have a lot of things going on, but if you keep up with them, it will help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday for all of our project management, creative assignments, open projects, and business development tracking. It cuts down on so many emails & meetings.
Excellent Tool for Projects!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about using monday.com is that it keeps my team on track with our multiple deadlines and features an organized layout that is both effective and aesthetically pleasing. It's simple and clean, and my team always knows where to find what they need, thanks to this site's streamlined layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only concern, and it's a very minor one, is that there are a few glitches with saving specific layouts (such as dedicated homepages) occasionally. I think this is minor and doesn't drastically affect the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com streamlines my team's workflow in a clean and aesthetically pleasing way. We are more productive because we spend less time looking for answers and more time working.
Good but still figuring it all out
What do you like best about the product?
I've enjoyed the ability to keep our team informed across multiple projects. Allows for transparent communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
People on my team don't find it the most intuitive or easy to read. The program is also limited in its abilities some times. Feels like the Monday dev team is still working everything out
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us track and communicate across multiple projects. Also, it allows us to assign out tasks with due dates.
Monday - A lifesaver for project management for subcontractors
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the Monday app is that anyone on our team can quickly access files, plans, timecard documents, training links, and more. It makes working many hours away from the main office much easier. Just upload the docs, and anyone with access can get what they need when needed without the need for emails and phone calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could use improvement is the adding and titling of images and videos. We constantly upload progress pictures for our projects, but it is still time-consuming and not as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue that we previously had was that if an employee was on site and had questions about something, the old way to do it was speak to the superintendent or project manager on-site, or email/call the foreman for answers because they were not able to access digital plans and docs. Now with the Monday app, all our employees have access to all the documents whenever they need them in an instant, saving us time and money.
